Student answer (Band 5.5)
This topic of not allowing teenager to be out of doors after particular time has generated a polarized opinions and ignited intense debates in recent years. Curfew imposed in which teenagers not allowed to be getting after particular time at night without an accompanied by an adult. I delve deep into both contrasting viewpoints prior to embarking on my relevant.
Beginning with the former stance, teenagers are not allow out their house late alone right decision as teenager not that much mature for taking the right decision in there life. They can get into any kind trouble. Likewise teenager get robbed easily in the night time as lots drug addicted roaming around neighborhood to steal something and robbed somebody whose hanging around in the streets. Moreover accompanied by an adult creates an safer environment for them. It also defend them I any kind of misshaping happens there is an adult to handle that situation in more effective way. I would like to mention an example that once my younger brother lost his way getting back home so he get lost but likely one our known person finds him. And left him at our home safely.
Exploring the opposite side, This curfew do not help to improve there decision making power and if teenager go out in the night they get to know about some realty check of the as well. I increase the teenager motivation as they are allowing taking decision by them. More over teenager explore the life of night life as well
Based on above discussion the both viewpoint is evident and has own vindication . However as per my contention, Adult must go with there children if to late in the night. As this is not safe out at late night. Teenager easily get robbed and any kind of misshaping could happen. But also let them go out sometimes if that's not late. It must consider due to said supportive arguments.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the curfew, but the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you present both sides, the arguments are often repetitive and lack depth. For example, the point about teenagers being 'not that much mature' is a good starting point, but it is not fully extended. The conclusion is somewhat contradictory, suggesting that teenagers should be accompanied but also allowed out, which makes your overall position slightly unclear. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-supported idea with specific examples that clearly illustrate your point rather than just stating general observations.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'Beginning with the former stance' and 'Exploring the opposite side' are used, but the internal flow within paragraphs is frequently disrupted by awkward phrasing and missing transitions. Referencing is also problematic; for instance, 'the both viewpoint' and 'there decision making power' (where 'there' is used instead of 'their') create confusion. Improving the logical flow between sentences and ensuring consistent use of linking words will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, which hinders the expression of more complex ideas. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'getting after particular time' instead of 'being out after a certain time' and 'misshaping' instead of 'mishap' or 'incident'. You also struggle with basic word forms, such as using 'defend' instead of 'protect' and 'realty check' instead of 'reality check'. To reach a higher band, you should focus on learning collocations and using more precise vocabulary to convey your meaning accurately rather than relying on basic, sometimes misused, terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are persistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('teenager get robbed'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or lack necessary components, such as 'Curfew imposed in which teenagers not allowed to be getting after particular time'. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often faulty, leading to confusion. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and verb, and proofreading for common errors like the confusion between 'there', 'their', and 'they're'.
