Student answer (Band 4.5)

As per the government of United States applicable the curfew rule in some places of the country, which is included not allowed childrens to go outside of the house after the noon time until or unless they could go outside if there guardians are accompanied. Here, I full agree with this view, which will be explain in detail below.

First of all, toddlers are in denger situation in some of areas of the country, just to protect them selves they should be protected by their parents or takecare persons. Because, in a curfew situation, majorly every things are getting closed: offices, schools, stores and theatres. As every important places are closed where teenagers keen to go, then they should stay at home and be safe with their parents.

Moreoever, going outside in the curfew time would be hazardous. Because, the US government has applicable some rules that without an urgent need: emergency of medical issues even old person can not go outside. So, parents should know that if their children would go out side in a curfew time then they would be charged by the authorities of the govrnment of the US. Moreover, after a perticular time at night only elders can visit out side of the house in a curfew imposed area, because taking their children togather with them or allowing their pupils to visit in a difficult situation would be affected eventually to their parent or family as they do not have perticular reason to visit outside infect the government has imposed the rule.

To conclude with agree with the high authority of the US that toddler would have required a permission if they want to go outside of the house in a curfew time period or else they can visit with their and of older family members just to stay safe in a difficult situation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The writer attempts to address the task by stating a clear personal opinion ('I full agree with this view') regarding teenage curfews. Relevant ideas are introduced, such as safety concerns and the strict enforcement of rules in curfew areas. However, the development of these ideas is frequently hindered by confusing vocabulary choices and repetitive arguments. For instance, the terms 'toddlers' and 'pupils' are used inaccurately to refer to teenagers, and the explanation of government rules regarding medical emergencies feels disjointed and lacks clear integration with the main argument about youth curfews. While all parts of the prompt are addressed to an extent, the supporting ideas are under-developed and lack logical extension, placing this response at Band 5.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5

The essay displays some organizational structure, featuring an introduction, distinct body paragraphs, and a brief concluding sentence. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression, and the logical links between ideas are frequently disrupted by inaccurate cohesive devices and poor referencing. For example, transitional phrases like 'Moreoever' and 'To conclude with agree' are mechanically applied and grammatically flawed. Pronoun referencing is also problematic, as seen in the phrase 'allowing their pupils to visit in a difficult situation would be affected eventually to their parent or family', which creates ambiguity and confuses the reader regarding who is being referred to. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion is weak.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The vocabulary is very limited and often inappropriate for the task. The writer frequently misuses words, most notably referring to teenagers as 'toddlers' or 'pupils'. There are also frequent spelling and word-form errors, such as 'denger' instead of danger, 'takecare' instead of caregivers, 'perticular' instead of particular, and 'infect' instead of in fact. Less common lexical items are attempted, but they result in unnatural collocations and strain communication at times. The range is minimally adequate to express basic intent, but the persistent lexical inaccuracies restrict the score to Band 4.5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The grammatical range is limited, consisting largely of basic sentence structures combined with overly complex, error-ridden attempts at subordination. Faulty sentence construction is frequent throughout the essay. Examples include 'As per the government of United States applicable the curfew rule', 'without an urgent need: emergency of medical issues even old person can not go outside', and 'toddlere would have required a permission'. There are pervasive errors in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions. While some simple sentences are understandable, the high frequency of grammatical errors causes significant difficulty for the reader and obscures the intended meaning.
