Student answer (Band 5.5)
I many regions of United States of America, there is an law imposed by the government that under age childrens are allow to go outdoor after specific time at night until or unless they are with any adult or with their parents.
In my point of perception, the law for teenagers is good to imposed during any irregular activity happening in the region. As a result, there might be chances that would adversely affect teenagers mind or might get in trouble while moving outside alone at night. Additionally, when the curfew is imposed by the government, teenagers should not be interfere in the states matter because having lack of information and knowledge they easily judge the situation and as they are not mature so also not able to make desicion on right or wrong things.
Furthermore, government should have somne other activity for teenagers to stay distracted from this curfew like situation and always having an adult with them during night is good, but, also they need someone during the day time which they can help and tell them what happening in the some particular areas so, they stop making judgment without having any idea. For instance, in India, currently there is an awkward situation, numbers of teenager without having proper background in education they are doing protest on road and saying that government is not doing anything for them, they don't have jobs and many such kind of things. So, these teenagers without having nothing they just making situation more worst judging government in wrong way and also trying to damage public property. So having someone for guidance is really a best option for teenagers.
To conclude, teenagers cannot be move outside after specific time at night because of curfew in some regions. And, if they want they should have someone adult with them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is generally clear: you support curfews, especially when teenagers may be at risk, and your conclusion repeats that they should not go out late alone. You also give a relevant example involving young people protesting in India. However, the response only partly develops the question of whether this restriction is justified. The discussion shifts toward teenagers judging government and damaging property, which is not clearly connected to the specific risks or benefits of a nighttime curfew. The suggestion that adults should guide teenagers during the day is also not fully explained. To strengthen the response, focus on the effects of nighttime restrictions, acknowledge a possible drawback such as limiting independence, and explain how your example supports your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, supporting paragraphs, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “As a result,” “Additionally,” and “Furthermore” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression is uneven because the discussion moves from nighttime safety to teenagers’ political opinions and then to daytime guidance without clearly showing how these points connect to curfews. Some sentences contain several ideas, making the line of argument difficult to follow. The conclusion restates the position but does not draw together the main reasons. Organise each body paragraph around one clear point, use references that make connections explicit, and ensure each example directly supports the paragraph’s central claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “curfew,” “adversely affect,” “mature,” “guidance,” and “public property.” These choices show an effort to express more than basic ideas. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making the meaning difficult to interpret. For example, “point of perception,” “irregular activity,” and “making situation more worst” do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also spelling and word-form problems, such as “somne” and “desicion.” Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check whether words commonly occur together; prioritise accurate, natural expressions over ambitious vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “when,” and “which,” but control is inconsistent. Errors occur in basic sentence patterns as well as in complex structures: “there is an law” has an article error, “teenagers are allow” has an incorrect verb form, and “teenagers cannot be move outside” uses an incorrect passive construction. Agreement and sentence structure are also problematic in “numbers of teenager … they are doing protest.” These errors recur and can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, verb forms, and passive structures, then divide long sentences into shorter units where needed.
