Student answer (Band 5.0)
I completely agree with this opinion regarding curfew imposed in USA some areas during this modern era .Teenager kids are the new pillar of future foundation building.
There are always two aspect of opinion according to public point of view.In my opinion i see a teenager kids as a ray of hope in manipulating the future.
One aspect of positive side.If kids obey their parent rules and regulations without argument then our future is in the save hands. For example Parent's teaches moral values , educate them properly, do proper upbringing . Creating good example of making self personality with no anger controll issues.Keep a good check on kids never left them unattended, set a proper curfew time so they should now value of life ,no involvement in illegal activities. Then we say we have obedient kids , our future lies in good hands.
Second aspect of dark sides.Forexample
if kids upbringing is in the bad hands especially the parent's (Drug addict, anger issues, emotional trauma)then we will have the spoiled teenager brat. They will lack the value of life .If we left them unattended they will loose interest in the studies and become ready to take interest in illegal activities. Then we will lost our future pillars.
In conclusion i would still agree to my opinion in setting a curfew time on teenager kids.It will help them to balance
academic life and mental health.I believe the curfew time should be imposed on other countries as well.Because teenager kids are future Hero's of our country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you support curfews, and the conclusion repeats this view. You also give relevant reasons, including adult supervision, avoiding illegal activities, and protecting teenagers’ studies and wellbeing. However, the response only partly addresses the specific policy in the prompt. Much of the discussion focuses on parenting and children’s upbringing rather than explaining why teenagers should or should not be restricted from going outdoors at night. The contrast between “positive” and “dark” sides is also not fully connected to your argument for curfews, and claims such as “we will lost our future pillars” are not supported with a concrete example. Develop a few directly relevant reasons and explain how a curfew would help, while acknowledging a possible drawback.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an identifiable beginning, two body sections, and a conclusion, and the phrases “One aspect” and “Second aspect” signal a contrast. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the two aspects are not clearly tied to your position: the first supports parental rules, while the second describes harmful upbringing without showing how a curfew addresses it. Several ideas are crowded into long lists, such as the sequence about moral values, education, upbringing, and anger control. Some linking phrases are incomplete or awkward, including “One aspect of positive side” and “Second aspect of dark sides.” Use topic sentences that state each reason, then explain and illustrate it in a logical order; clearer paragraph links and references would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related expressions, including “moral values,” “illegal activities,” “academic life,” and “mental health,” which help communicate your general concerns. However, vocabulary is often imprecise or unnatural, and some errors make the meaning less clear. For example, “new pillar of future foundation building” and “manipulating the future” do not express your intended idea naturally; “future pillars” and “future Hero’s” are also awkward or incorrectly formed. Spelling and word-form errors such as “controll,” “loose” for “lose,” and “Forexample” are noticeable. Aim for precise, conventional phrasing and check spelling and collocations. For instance, describe teenagers as “the future of society” and say that a curfew may “reduce their exposure to risk.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You use some simple sentences and attempt longer conditional structures, such as “If kids obey their parent rules and regulations … then our future is in the save hands.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “There are always two aspect,” “Parent’s teaches,” “never left them unattended,” and “Then we will lost our future pillars.” Several fragments, including “One aspect of positive side” and “For example Parent’s teaches…,” also interrupt the flow. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check plural agreement and verb forms. More accurate control of these basic patterns would make your ideas much easier to understand.
