Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You give a clear general opinion that teenagers should not go out alone at night, and you attempt to support it with concerns about emotional vulnerability and human trafficking. However, the reasons are only minimally explained: for example, “people easily takle the teeagers” does not clarify who might harm them or how a curfew would help. The second body paragraph is especially unclear and does not develop a relevant example. The conclusion repeats your position but does not add a developed summary. The response also contains 219 words, so it is 31 words below the required minimum; this limits the space available to explain and support your ideas. Develop two relevant reasons with specific explanations or examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

Your response has an identifiable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and phrases such as “To commence with” and “To recapitulate” signal stages of the essay. This gives it some basic organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow: the first body paragraph repeats the curfew idea and moves abruptly from teenagers’ feelings to people hurting them. The second paragraph contains fragments such as “A pertinent, the potential impac of this trend,” so the relationship between its points is unclear. Linking expressions are sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, including “As a result” where no clear result has been established. Use one main idea per paragraph and connect each explanation and example explicitly.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt some topic-related and formal vocabulary, including “contentious issue,” “proponents,” “accompanied,” and “beneficial.” These choices show an effort to move beyond very basic wording. However, the range is limited and many spelling errors or inaccurate word choices make meaning difficult to recover, as in “human samagling,” “misuse of teeagers life,” and “pragmetic.” Several phrases are also unnatural or repetitive, such as “the first reasson” and “the seond reason.” Choose familiar words you can use accurately, and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise terms such as “risk of exploitation” or “vulnerable to harm” would help express your concerns clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast introduced by “While” and a concluding clause beginning “although.” However, sentence structures are often incomplete or faulty, and errors frequently obscure the intended meaning. For example, “some proponents assert justification some people think…” lacks a clear grammatical connection, while “teenagers are have very sensetive feelings” combines incompatible verb forms. There are also problems with agreement, articles and sentence boundaries, as in “this need company of adult specialy at night.” Work first on producing complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then practise joining ideas with accurate conjunctions and punctuation.
