Student answer (Band 4.5)
As you know that in some areas of Us, a 'curfew' is imposed. Due to this nobody is allowed to be out after a specific time. First we have to realized that why they impose a 'curfew' is it serious or not?
when u first listen the word curfew its definitely point out towards something is serious going in our country. So we should listen to the guide line of our govenment if they don't allow us to get out of our home in the specific time. So we should follow the instruction that were given by US government.
I remembered same thing happened in 2019 when corona virus is spreaded in whole world. And suddenly every country impose a lockdown or curfew we said.In that time no body is allow to get out of their homes and food is provided to their home. Shopping Malls got closed.Market got crashed and every country loss to much money in that period of time. And also in this stiuation every country also help poorer country in which they dont have wealth and money to buy food and medicine to the peoples.
So according to me its adult duty to strict their chilidren to obey government orders.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You give a recognisable opinion: you believe teenagers should follow government instructions and adults should ensure they do so. However, the response addresses the question only minimally because it does not explain specifically why a curfew for teenagers is justified or whether you support this particular restriction. The comparison with the 2019 coronavirus lockdown is relevant to obeying public rules, but it concerns a different situation and takes up much of the response without connecting the example to teenagers’ safety or curfew policy. The discussion of financial losses and aid to poorer countries is also not clearly linked to your opinion. The response is 47 words below the required minimum, which further limits the opportunity to develop reasons and examples. Explain your position directly and support it with curfew-specific reasons and examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some basic organisation: you introduce the topic, give your view, provide an example from the pandemic, and finish with a concluding opinion. Simple links such as “First,” “So,” and “In that time” help show relationships between points. However, the progression is not consistently clear. The opening questions about whether the situation is serious are not answered directly, and the paragraph about lockdown shifts to shopping malls, economic losses, and international aid without showing how these details support the curfew argument. Several ideas are crowded into one paragraph, while the final sentence arrives abruptly. Use separate paragraphs for your position, reasons, and example, and make each linking phrase show a clear connection to the question.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “curfew,” “government,” “instruction,” “lockdown,” and “medicine,” so the general subject is understandable. There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as “obey government orders.” However, vocabulary is often repetitive or imprecise, and spelling errors are noticeable: “govenment,” “stiuation,” and “chilidren.” Some phrases are not natural in this context, including “listen to the guide line” and “every country loss to much money.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning less clear. Build a more precise set of expressions for discussing curfews, such as public safety, prevent teenagers from being exposed to danger, and parental responsibility, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate mainly through simple sentences and make some attempts to connect clauses, for example, “So we should follow the instruction that were given by US government.” However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to follow. Examples include “we have to realized,” “every country impose,” “no body is allow,” and “its adult duty,” where verb forms, agreement, or sentence structure are inaccurate. The opening, “As you know that…,” is also not formed correctly. Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, particularly at sentence beginnings and around full stops. Practise accurate present and past forms, subject–verb agreement, and complete sentence construction before attempting longer linked sentences.
