Student answer (Band 6.5)
In few regions of the US, a 'curfew' has become affective, in which young people are not permitted to be outside of their house after a soecific time at night unless they are with attending something wuth an adult. I would strongly agree, with the above statement as it can save teenagers from hazardous situation and they can manage their schedule better.
To commence with, there are a lot of dangerous situations occur at night which could be concluded life threatening sometimes. For example, Getting involved in any crime such as, drugs, bullying and harassment. Moreover, there could be a situation when a child is walking alone at night and what if someone comes and starts threating with knife or asking for money. So, if youngsters stay home, they can save themselves risk of voilence and it could be proved better for their personal safety too.
Another strong reason is they can have advantage of developing good habits like sleeping early, eating at right time which would effect their morning schedule too. For example, if junevile is sleeping early and eating well at night, then he can wake up early and fresh with positive attitiude. Additionally, it will also help to improve their academic performance. As, a result, they will learn self- discipline, which would help them in future decision making.
To conclude with, I firmly believe that imposing curfews is a sensible decision. It not only protect them from potential danger but also they can learn healthy routine and focus on their education.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the introduction—“I would strongly agree”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address the opinion question with two relevant reasons: protecting teenagers from danger and encouraging healthier routines and academic focus. The examples about being threatened while alone and waking early help explain these points, so the response is more than a list of claims. To strengthen the development further, explain the connection between a legally imposed curfew and the outcomes you predict; for instance, a curfew may reduce exposure to some risks, but it cannot guarantee safety or better habits. The discussion of crime also generalises broadly, so a more specific, carefully qualified example would make the support more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The response has a clear overall progression: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs each develop a separate reason, and the conclusion restates your position. Signposting such as “To commence with,” “Another strong reason,” and “To conclude” makes the structure easy to follow. Examples are generally placed beside the points they support. However, some links are mechanical or awkward, particularly “As, a result,” and the opening sentence is difficult to follow because several ideas are packed together. The transition from personal safety to healthy routines is clear at paragraph level, but the reasoning within each paragraph could be connected more smoothly. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make the relationship between each claim, explanation, and example explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “hazardous situation,” “personal safety,” “academic performance,” and “self-discipline.” These choices help communicate your main ideas, and there is some attempt to use more formal language. However, inaccurate spelling and word choice are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: “affective” appears to mean “effective,” “soecific” should be “specific,” and “voilence” should be “violence.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “with attending something wuth an adult” and “save themselves risk.” Repeated general terms such as “situation” and “help” limit precision. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations so that your vocabulary is both accurate and natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if someone comes and starts…” and “if [a] juvenile is sleeping early… then he can wake up early.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main message is usually understandable. However, errors recur in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “there are a lot of dangerous situations occur” needs a grammatical link (“there are… that occur”); “It not only protect them” requires subject–verb agreement; and “a child is walking alone” is awkward in the hypothetical context. Commas are also misplaced in “As, a result.” Practise building accurate complex sentences and proofread each sentence for a clear subject, verb, and correct agreement.
