Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points in the task: you praise the staff’s behaviour and the hotel’s decoration and cleanliness, explain that the lunch tasted and smelled bad and that service was slow, and suggest better food storage, staff guidance, and cooking with fresh ingredients. These are relevant details, and the report that some participants became sick helps explain their dissatisfaction. However, the praise and proposed improvements are not developed equally: for example, you do not explain what kind of staff guidance or food-storage practice would help. A more formal opening and closing, and a direct request for the manager to act, would also make the purpose of the letter clearer and more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response follows a broadly sensible order, moving from positive comments about the hotel to complaints about lunch and then suggestions. This gives the reader a basic sense of the message. However, the ideas are crowded into one long body paragraph, with little separation between the three required points. Connectors such as “but,” “in addition,” and “meanwhile” are sometimes used awkwardly, and the relationship between suggestions is not always clear. For example, “meanwhile” does not clearly link fresh food to the earlier recommendations. Use separate paragraphs for praise, the food problems, and proposed action, and choose linking phrases that show the exact relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “decoration,” “clean and fresh environment,” “bad taste,” “food service,” and “food quality.” These choices allow the reader to identify the main concerns and suggestions. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the message harder to follow, as in “numerous of think,” “decrated,” “soulition,” and “proper storeing system.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “get sick ofter meeting” and “provide guidence to serving team.” Build accuracy with common formal-letter collocations, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise wording would help you describe the food and the practical changes you want the manager to make.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to combine ideas using clauses and conjunctions, for example when explaining that participants disliked the food because of its taste and smell and that service was slow. This shows an effort to go beyond isolated simple sentences. However, sentence boundaries and basic grammatical patterns are often unclear: “all team member of campany click many picture” lacks correct agreement and tense, while “many of menber get sick” has problems with number and verb form. Articles and punctuation are also inconsistent, and several ideas run together without full stops. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then join them with clear subordinate clauses. This will make your meaning easier to follow while retaining some structural variety.
