Dear sir,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am writing this email to share some concerns about our last meeting that held at your hotel on last Tuesday at 4 pm.
First of all, I would like to thanks to you and all your staff members to organize every thing so perfectly. The ambience and facility that had been provided was remarkable. Most importantly conference room arrangements was to the point our guests were impressed.
However, there was one issue that ruin our experience was uncooked food. Additionally vegetarian and non vegetarian food were not labeled properly caused dilemma to guests.
Therefore, I would like to suggest proper food preparation and labelling methods for our future events to enhance quality and our relationship to make this experience more memorable.
I hope this helps and I’m looking forward to business with you soon.
Have a great day.
Warm Regards,
Abhishek

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The letter covers all three bullet points required by the prompt. You successfully identified the positive aspects of the hotel, explained the issues with the food, and provided a suggestion for improvement. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter of complaint. However, the development of ideas is somewhat brief. For instance, explaining why the food was 'uncooked' or providing more specific details about the labelling issue would have strengthened the response. While the task is fully addressed, the ideas could be expanded slightly to provide a more comprehensive and professional tone, which would move the response into a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'First of all', 'However', and 'Therefore' to transition between ideas. While the structure is clear, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical. For example, the transition between the praise for the conference room and the complaint about the food is abrupt. Improving the use of linking phrases and ensuring that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed idea would enhance the overall coherence of the letter.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'ambience', 'facility', and 'memorable'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'thanks to you' instead of 'thank you' and 'caused dilemma' instead of 'caused confusion' or 'posed a problem'. The vocabulary is sufficient to convey your message clearly, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. To improve, focus on using more natural collocations and avoiding repetitive phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The letter contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'meeting that held' (should be 'that was held'), 'thanks to you' (should be 'thank you'), and 'arrangements was' (should be 'arrangements were'). Additionally, there are minor punctuation and article errors throughout. While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. You should focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of passive voice to improve your accuracy.
