Dear Sir/Madam,
My Name is Ramandeep Kaur, Manager of a Trident Gorup. I am writing a letter regarding review of the our company recent meeting which was held in your hotal.
I am very happy to say that all participants of the meeting really like the hotel. Your hotel is suitable for us because its nearby the company, good parking spot. They really loved the design and hall capacity of the hotel. Moreover, It was very neat and clean and also had a good sound system.
All were happy while meeting. After meeting when I talked about food they all were disappointed. The food really not good teaste. The level of spices ups and downs and also nobody like the dessert because that was not fresh.
I would like to recommend you to please change the menu of the food in your hotel. If you can you can also hire a professional cook because this is reputated hotel in this area.
I would really like if you consider my suggestion.
Your sincerely,
Ramandeep Kaur.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt: the positive aspects of the hotel, the issues with the food, and suggestions for improvement. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention the food was disappointing, explaining the 'level of spices' is a bit vague. To reach a higher band, try to provide more specific details about the lunch experience to fully develop your ideas. Overall, the purpose of the letter is clear and the task requirements are met.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each focusing on a specific aspect of the prompt. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Moreover' and 'After meeting' to link your ideas. However, the transitions between sentences can feel a bit mechanical at times. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that your referencing (e.g., 'they', 'that') is always clear. The overall progression of the letter is easy to follow, and the paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different points of your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for this task, such as 'participants', 'disappointed', and 'reputated' (though this is a spelling error). There are some noticeable errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'hotal' instead of 'hotel' and 'teaste' instead of 'taste'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. To improve, focus on mastering the spelling of common words and try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations to express your dissatisfaction more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'My Name is Ramandeep Kaur, Manager of a Trident Gorup' (missing articles), 'its nearby the company' (incorrect preposition/adverb usage), and 'The food really not good teaste' (missing verb). While these errors are frequent, they rarely prevent the reader from understanding your message. To reach a higher band, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and prepositions, as these are recurring issues in your writing.
