IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently organised an all-day meeting for your company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch.

Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say what the participants liked about the hotel
• explain why they were unhappy about the food
• suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir,

I am writing you this letter to discuss few things about the meeting which we organized at your hotel. All the participants from our company liked your hotel. Hospitality was top notch, your staff greeted us very well. They provided everything on time and the quality for for everything was best. The only thing which disappoint us was the food. All of our staff complained us about food. The food was not really fresh and I also found this thing true. We were not sure that it happened because there were quite large number of participants in our meeting and you have to prepare food in advance. I am not sure about the reason but I thought I should discuss this thing with you so that we can find a better experience at your hotel next time and you should not loose customers in future.
