IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently organised an all-day meeting for your company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch.

Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say what the participants liked about the hotel
• explain why they were unhappy about the food
• suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to give feedback on the recent board meeting held organized at your hotel.

All the participants like the theme and decoration for the meeting and we also like the staff as they are friendly and serving everything on time. However, the only complain we have is the food. There are limited options for vegan food. Moreover, some dishes do not state the ingredients thus it's hard for people with nuts allergy to taste some dishes as they are not aware of the ingredients.

I would suggest if you could consider having more options for vegetarian people and display the ingredients so that people get aware about the dish. Further the food served is not hot so it would be better if it will be served hot.

I hope you take these suggestions as positive and consider them for future.
