IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently organised an all-day meeting for your company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch.

Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say what the participants liked about the hotel
• explain why they were unhappy about the food
• suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir,

I hope this email finds you well.

I would like to inform you that our meeting on last Friday was went very well and all our team members and clients were very happy with the arrangements.

Additionally, clients were significantly impressed by conference’s room structure specifically seating arrangements were excellent and reception services including direction support and inquiry services were taken care properly.

Furthermore, despite the all arrangements only food arrangements didn’t meet clients expectations and cause us little discomfort. Food quality and labelling were the main concerns as clients faced dilemma while eating veg and non veg food.

Hence, I would like to suggest that proper labelling of food items and by using standard food items could benefit significantly into your business.
