IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently organised an all-day meeting for your company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch.

Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say what the participants liked about the hotel
• explain why they were unhappy about the food
• suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to express my feedback regarding business event which held last week in your hotel.

All the participants like good set up for meeting as the decoration was really fascinating. Unique design of furniture such as chairs , tables and couch made sitting hall more attractive for our business meeting. All the staff appreciated big chandelier which is hanging in the middle of sitting area.

Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with food quality because most of the dishes were salty as well as cold. We booked meat according to your menu it was too raw and tasteless.

I want to give you suggestion so you can amend your service for future. Meat should be served more cooked as majority of individuals do not like raw meat and it should be hot and please arrange the plates as soon as possible so that people can eat while the food still warm.

I appreciate your time and consideration.
