Dear Manager,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with your hotel. I was extremely disappointed with the situation that happened from your side. I would like bring this matter to your attention.
To begin with, our company organized an all day meeting at Marriot hotel. All the participants like the hotel service and infrastructure and every art and interior designs held on the hotel. After the meeting we booked lunch too. Unfortunately the food that was served is not fresh also the service team response was unpleasant. For instance, One of our team member have allergic on prawns I specifically mention to the receptionist we need this type of food items, But they did wrong.
Furthermore, They took two hours to replacement of the wrongly misplaced food it also affected our post meeting schedule. I would be grateful if you could take useful action regarding this issues.
I hope you will take immediate action for this problem. Thank you for valuable time and consideration on this issues. I will look forward for your response.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: the positive aspects of the hotel, the issues with the food, and suggestions for improvement. However, the tone is somewhat inconsistent. While you mention the participants liked the hotel, the opening paragraph is overly aggressive for a formal letter of complaint, stating you are 'extremely disappointed' before even explaining the situation. To improve, ensure the tone remains professional and objective throughout. The ideas are relevant, but the suggestion for improvement is slightly vague ('take useful action'). Providing more specific recommendations, such as reviewing catering staff training or menu quality control, would better demonstrate your ability to develop ideas fully.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is logically organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'Unfortunately' to link your ideas. However, the flow is occasionally interrupted by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. For example, the transition between the hotel's infrastructure and the lunch issue is abrupt. Additionally, the use of referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'They took two hours to replacement of the wrongly misplaced food', where the pronoun 'They' is not clearly linked to a specific antecedent. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help your writing flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your message, but there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors. For example, 'every art and interior designs held on the hotel' is unnatural; a better phrasing would be 'the interior design and decor of the hotel'. Similarly, 'have allergic on prawns' should be 'has a prawn allergy'. You also use 'replacement' as a noun where a verb or different structure is needed. While your meaning is generally clear, these errors indicate a need for more attention to collocations and word forms to reach a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('One of our team member have'), incorrect preposition use ('allergic on'), and awkward sentence construction ('I would like bring this matter'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with capitalization and comma usage. While the meaning is usually understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from being considered error-free. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will significantly improve your accuracy.
