Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,
Student answer (Band 6.5)
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to provide my feedback about my recent visit with my colleagues for a meeting purpose.
First of all, I would definitely say, all my team members liked the place as it is between the mountains and beautiful scenery. In addition to that the environment of the hotel was peaceful and felt relax, because of that we did not received any disturbance throughout our meetings. Apart from that the hotel was quite neat and clean.
However, everything was perfect except the food they served for lunch. My company members were unsatisfied with that as it had a number of problems such as a food was not properly cooked. Moreover I ordered dishes without spiciness but as all my team members came from abroad; but I received extra spicy dishes, that my foreign colleagues did not liked that. As a result of that, I was very disappointed with my company reputation. However, your cooking staff can try few things to improve food facilities such as a try to taste dish before served as well as check the Oder that really goes to particular table or person.
Thank you so much for your service.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The letter covers all three bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly state what the participants liked (scenery, peaceful environment, cleanliness), explain the issues with the food (undercooked, incorrect spice levels), and offer suggestions for improvement. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter of complaint. To reach a higher band, ensure that the explanation of the food issues is more concise and avoids repetition. For instance, the mention of 'foreign colleagues' is a good detail, but the phrasing could be more professional to better develop the impact of the service failure on your company's reputation.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each addressing a specific part of the prompt. You use some cohesive devices such as 'First of all', 'In addition to that', and 'However' to link your ideas. However, the flow is occasionally interrupted by slightly awkward phrasing, such as 'because of that we did not received any disturbance'. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that sentences transition more smoothly would enhance the overall coherence. The paragraphing is appropriate for a formal letter, and the progression of ideas is easy to follow throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'scenery', 'unsatisfied', and 'reputation'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'meeting purpose' instead of 'for a meeting' and 'felt relax' instead of 'felt relaxed'. Additionally, 'Oder' is a spelling error for 'order'. While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise control over word forms and common collocations to reach a higher band. Expanding your vocabulary to include more sophisticated descriptors would also be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'we did not received' (should be 'did not receive'), 'a food was not' (should be 'the food was not'), and 'did not liked that' (should be 'did not like that'). These errors are frequent but do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of auxiliary verbs in the past tense. Increasing the variety of complex sentence structures while maintaining accuracy will help you achieve a higher score in this criterion.
