IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently organised an all-day meeting for your company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch.

Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say what the participants liked about the hotel
• explain why they were unhappy about the food
• suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope you are well.

I am writing this letter to express my feedback on the hotel service and food that we experienced at your hotel last weekend.

To begin with, my entire company team got impress from the CEO to the bottom-level employee were impreseed by your hotel management and customer service staff.

However, there were several complaints about the food. Firstly, breakfast was not prepared on time, and they had to wait for some time. In addition, roti and rice were uncooked, and the curry was extremely spicy for some people.

I would recommend that food be prepared a few minutes earlier so people do not have to wait, and a chef ought to taste the food before serving it to people.

I hope you will look into this matter so that next time our company staff can enjoy the food.
