IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently organised an all-day meeting for your company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch.

Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say what the participants liked about the hotel
• explain why they were unhappy about the food
• suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Manager,

Hope you are doing well

I am just writing this letter to inform you about the recent experience that we had with your hotel during our full day meeting for our xyz company. We had a lot of participants on that day, they liked the infrastructure and design of hotel a lot, but there was something that needs to be done perfectly. The food served on that day was not enough portioned according to the customer needs. They were small portioned and we get complained about the food for your hotel.

So, I request you to make a bit bigger size for the portions so that it comes with the participants needs. As you know, we have frequent meetings every after two weeks and we always book your hotel. I hope you will understand this situation and make some changes for us towards the future meetings.
