In addition, the staff were both very supportive and attentive thoughout day. The convenient location of the hotel and the pleasant atmosphere also contributed significantly to the success of the event.
Nevertheless, the luch received considerably less favouable feedback because the food was served cold and lacked variety. Moreover, the vegetarian options were extremely limited and the quality of the ingredients did not meet their high standard they has expected from such a reputable hotel.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The letter covers all three bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly state what was liked (facilities, staff, location), explain the dissatisfaction with the lunch (cold, lack of variety, poor quality), and provide constructive suggestions for improvement. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter of complaint. The ideas are well-developed and the purpose of the letter is clear from the beginning. To reach a higher band, ensure that all parts of the prompt are addressed with equal depth; the explanation of the food issues is well-handled, and the suggestions are practical and relevant to the context of a business meeting.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'In addition', 'Nevertheless', and 'Moreover' to guide the reader through your points. Paragraphing is used effectively to separate the different aspects of the feedback. While the flow is generally smooth, some minor errors in sentence structure occasionally affect the natural progression of ideas, such as in the second paragraph where the phrasing is slightly awkward. Overall, the information is easy to follow and the structure is appropriate for a formal letter.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message clearly, using terms like 'dissatisfaction', 'reputable', and 'attentive'. However, there are several spelling errors ('fasinacted', 'favouable', 'benefical', 'dissatifaction') and minor word-choice issues ('outstanding arranged' instead of 'outstandingly arranged'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do indicate a need for more careful proofreading. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring the correct spelling of common academic and professional vocabulary to demonstrate a more flexible and accurate range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is good. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'meeting that held' (should be 'that was held'), 'many of them were expressed' (should be 'many of them expressed'), and 'they has expected' (should be 'they had expected'). Additionally, there are issues with article usage and verb forms. While these errors are noticeable and occur frequently, they rarely cause confusion or impede the reader's understanding of your complaint. Increasing your control over complex sentence structures and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will help improve your score.
