IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently organised an all-day meeting for your company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch.

Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter

• say what the participants liked about the hotel
• explain why they were unhappy about the food
• suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Jasnpreet Kaur and I am a regular visitor of this hotel. I am writing this letter to express my unpleasant experience with the customer service at your hotel. I am an employee of Tech company; I recently organized a meeting for my company, which took place at your hotel.

Firstly, participants of that meeting gave us feedback on your hotel services. They mentioned that they liked the hospitality given by staff members, also the meeting area was very clean at that time.

Furthermore, all of them were unhappy with the food that you served for food. As the food was not smelled good, it looks like the dishes were not fresh. Along with food, we ordered some drinks and every drink had a weird taste.

Moreover, as I am a regular visitor of this hotel, I felt that that was the first time I had experienced this kind of service. I hope you will take a look at the main cause of this problem and make sure that guests will not have to experience with the same services.
