I am writing this letter to express my resentment of your service. Actually, we stayed in your hotel last weekend for our meetings. Intially our colleagueas enjoyed every moment of their stay. As your hotel bestow with plenty of amenities such as impressive customer service, spacious meeting room and exqusite views of mountains. All of them were so excited to experience the picturesque attraction ogf the hotel. It was great time to be there.
Nevertheless, their entire mod had been changed becuase of food service. Since we had ordered meals according to our choices, preparation of food had made us gloomy. Firstly, we had been waiting for so long to get our dinner.Secondly food was extremely spicy which beyond we except. Apart from this, some of item were served cold which vanished their taste.
Suggesting the measures you can implement to enhance the quality of cuisine for future, predominantly, you should hire a few professional chef who knows the requirement of indigrents in every dish. Despite this, you should take stringent action to amelioriate the quality of service provided by your employees. However I would like to appreciate your endeavours you put to fulfill our requirements and hope you will look this matter and tackle this issue for future purpose.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The letter addresses all three points: it praises the hotel’s customer service, meeting room and mountain views, explains that lunch was delayed and served too spicy or cold, and recommends hiring professional chefs and improving staff service. These details make the purpose clear and relevant. However, the praise is more fully described than the proposed improvements, which remain broad: “hire a few professional chef” does not explain how the hotel should check dietary preferences or food quality, and the service recommendation is not specifically tied to the meal problems. The opening also says “resentment of your service,” which sounds more confrontational than the otherwise appreciative closing. Develop the practical suggestions and use a consistently courteous tone to address the task more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The information follows a generally logical sequence: the writer introduces the visit, describes what participants liked, explains their dissatisfaction, and then offers recommendations. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and signposts such as “Nevertheless,” “Firstly” and “Secondly” make the complaint easy to follow. This clear overall arrangement is a strength. Some connections are less smooth or precise, however. “Since we had ordered meals according to our choices, preparation of food had made us gloomy” does not clearly explain the relationship between the order and the problems, while “Despite this” does not introduce a clear contrast before the service recommendation. The final sentence also combines appreciation, a request and a hope in a crowded sequence. Use linking phrases that express the exact relationship between ideas and separate the closing points.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response attempts a range of vocabulary, including “spacious meeting room,” “picturesque attraction,” “stringent action” and “quality of cuisine.” This shows an effort to use less common language, and the main complaint remains understandable. However, several choices are inaccurate or unnatural for a formal hotel letter: “resentment of your service” overstates the complaint, “our meetings” is unclear, and “preparation of food had made us gloomy” does not naturally describe dissatisfaction. Spelling errors such as “Intially,” “exqusite,” “becuase” and “indigrents” also reduce control. Aim for precise, conventional expressions rather than ornate wording, and proofread spelling. For example, describe the food as “unsatisfactory” and say that it “disappointed the participants.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
There is an attempt to use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the clause beginning “Since we had ordered meals…” and the recommendation introduced by “you should.” The overall meaning can usually be followed, but errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms are noticeable. For example, “As your hotel bestow with plenty of amenities” is an incomplete, incorrectly formed clause; “food was extremely spicy which beyond we except” lacks a clear grammatical structure; and “some of item were served cold” has a number-agreement problem. Punctuation also needs attention, particularly the missing space after “dinner.” and the run-on final sentence. Build accurate complete sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking verb forms, articles and singular/plural agreement.
