Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You cover the main points: you praise the conference-room facilities, staff service and hotel atmosphere, explain concerns about limited vegetarian choices and food quality, and recommend improving the food. The specific report that a staff member suffered food poisoning makes the complaint clear and relevant. However, the final suggestion, “please improve your food in future,” is too general to fully address how the hotel could improve; propose practical steps such as offering more vegetarian options, checking freshness, or reviewing food preparation. The opening also does not clearly state the purpose because “I wrtiting feedback about regarding” is difficult to understand. A clearer purpose and more developed recommendations would make the letter more complete and effective.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response moves from positive comments to the food complaint and then to a recommendation, so the reader can follow its broad direction. However, the ideas are crowded into one paragraph, and the progression within it is sometimes unclear. For example, “Apart from the food everything was well organised” returns to praise after the complaint, while “And one of our staff member also had food poisoning” is added without a clear link to the preceding points. Several sentences run together or are separated awkwardly, such as “exceptional. The stuff” and “Specifically several / people.” Use separate paragraphs for the positive feedback, the food concerns, and your request, and connect related details more clearly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt relevant vocabulary for a formal complaint, including “conference room facilities,” “vegetarian dishes,” “quality of food,” and “food poisoning.” These choices communicate the main concerns, but frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices sometimes make the message difficult to read: “wrtiting,” “atanties,” “disatisfication,” “launch,” and “sucess.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “contributed. Greatly to the sucess” and “gave piece of advice to you.” Choose accurate, natural collocations and proofread spelling. For instance, “lunch” is the correct word for the meal, and “I would recommend that you review the menu” is clearer and more appropriate than the final request.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use some simple sentences and attempt to combine ideas, but grammatical control is inconsistent, and errors often make sentences hard to follow. The opening, “I wrtiting feedback about regarding on all-day company meeting,” lacks a correctly formed verb and has an unclear sentence structure. There are also problems with articles and agreement in “one of our staff member,” and the clause “food was not fresh” needs an article or clearer phrasing. Tense and sentence construction are faulty in “the day they eaten food,” while “they also don't like” shifts unnecessarily into the present. Practise complete sentence patterns, subject–verb agreement, articles, and consistent past-tense reporting; then check punctuation so sentences are not joined or broken awkwardly.
