The Invited employees were liking the design because that hotel textured very good. The hotel had very excellent chill compound and staff were too good they trying to keep asking for water and suggestion about themselves to improve their skills.
The Invited employees were not liking the food because that food textured very bad. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address all three points: you mention the hotel’s ambience, design and attentive staff, explain that participants disliked the lunch, and recommend replacing the chef. However, the explanation of the food complaint is unclear and not fully convincing: phrases such as “the food textured very bad” and the description of washing hands do not clearly explain what was wrong with the meal. The recommendation is also narrow, focusing only on hiring a new chef rather than offering practical steps such as reviewing the menu, improving ingredients or collecting dietary preferences. The letter’s purpose is understandable, but several ideas need clearer development and more relevant detail.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a generally coherent sequence: it introduces the meeting, describes what participants liked, explains their complaint, and ends with a recommendation. Separate paragraphs help distinguish these points, and “However” signals the contrast between the positive hotel experience and the lunch problem. Some connections are less clear, though. For example, the sentence about the staff asking for “water and suggestion” is difficult to follow, and the repeated references to “the Invited employees” make the progression sound mechanical. Grouping the positive details into one concise paragraph and the food concerns and proposed improvements into another would make the letter easier to follow. Clearer links between each complaint and the suggested action would also strengthen cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
Your vocabulary communicates the basic topic, with relevant words such as “participants,” “ambiance,” “staff,” “chef” and “dishes.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or combinations are inaccurate enough to make meaning unclear. “The hotel textured very good” and “the food textured very bad” do not express the intended ideas naturally; “well designed” and “tasted very poor” would be clearer. “Chill compound” and “get smell the taste” are also unsuitable expressions in this context. Repetition of “very bad” and “liking” limits precision. Aim to use natural collocations for food and service, such as “poorly prepared,” “unpleasant taste” and “attentive service.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The letter relies mainly on simple statements, with a few attempts to join ideas using “because” and “however.” Errors in verb forms and sentence construction are frequent, as in “I am the guy who organizing” and “they trying to keep asking”; these need forms such as “I am the person who organised” and “they kept asking.” Agreement and articles are also problematic in “that hotel textured very good” and “old one doesn’t good cooking skills.” Several sentences run together without clear punctuation, particularly the description of the staff and the food complaint. These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Practise accurate past-tense reporting and build longer sentences around one clear main clause.
