Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this modern era, most of people have too much worloads and this put some negative impacts on their health.because they did not get proper time for exercise. So, in upcoming paragraphs i will tell some suggestions how working people will overcome from this problem.

First of all in this modern world working people did not give enough time for exercises because they are busy in making money to complete their basic needs but they forget if they get any major health issue then money can not help them at that time.Second one employers do not have proper schedule. They always busy in their work and if the get free time then they waste this time in watching television or playing videos games and the last one reason is that working class also have to give some time to their family members like if they free from their office than they have to spend their free time with the families.so that is also reason working class do not get time for exercise. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You identify several relevant reasons, including long working hours, prioritising income and basic needs, and family commitments. You also suggest solutions such as setting a timetable and limiting overtime, so the response addresses both questions. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the reasons are listed rather than explained in depth, and the example about unfit businesspeople is broad and unsupported. The solutions section is especially incomplete; the final sentence stops at “companies should also take responsibility,” without explaining what employers could do. The opening promises suggestions but does not establish a clear, sustained position. Develop each main point with a specific explanation or example, and complete the employer-focused solution.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some basic organisation: the response begins with an introduction, moves to reasons, and then turns to solutions. Signposting such as “First of all” and “For example” helps readers recognise the intended structure. However, progression within paragraphs is weak, and several ideas run together in long sentences. The repeated phrases “in this modern world” and “the last one” make the linking mechanical, while “So, in last paragraph” refers awkwardly to the structure rather than guiding the argument. The final solution is cut off, leaving the response without a complete ending. Use separate, focused paragraphs for causes and solutions, connect each point with clear references, and finish with a brief conclusion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the general subject, including “health issue,” “basic needs,” “extra hours,” and “family members.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “hectic schedule.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear: “workloads” is misspelled as “worloads,” “employers” appears where “employees” seems intended, and “videos games” is not the correct phrase. Repetition of “working people,” “time,” and “free time” also limits flexibility. Aim for accurate collocations and vary key terms—for example, use “workforce” or “employees,” and describe workplace exercise initiatives more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, for example, “because they are busy in making money … but they forget if they get any major health issue.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand the message. Examples include “most of people have,” “this put,” “they did not get proper time,” and “if the get free time”; these involve articles, agreement, verb forms, and pronouns. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, with several sentences joined together and new sentences beginning without capitals. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and divide long ideas into shorter, correctly punctuated sentences.
