It has been universally accepted that problem of less excercise due to some reasons is escalating at alarming rate. The problem is bringing a state of depression among the masses and in economy too. There are plethora os reasons of the same and its possible solution can be suggested too which are discussed as follows.

In regards to the problem, the major reason which can be stated is long working hours by today's generation, which means people are working more number of hours as compared to the past which leads to busy and hectic life. So they bearly gets time for thier healthy life and physical activities. For example, recently publised study by Times of India states that , now people (72%) are more concerned about their work life as compared to physical well-being. Another problematic cause is sedentary or lazziness among this generation. In support to this reason, people are spening large numbe of hours on chairs which makes less time for physical well-being, moreover technology has made easy for them to live sedentary life.

Seeing this problem with brighter mind, many solutions can be helpful to curb this menace. One of the solution is , employer should encourge fitness and gym room at workplace as there part of job. Having these facilities can motivate employees to work on their physical fitness as well Secondly, employer shold offer flexible work hours to their employee so that they can focus on excercise and fitness. Even short breaks at work can play major role in this problem.

To conclude, solving global issue is not an easy task but with the joint effors of people, government and employer, a control can be taken over the problem of less excercise. I believe that everyone sholud come forword to mitigate this problem.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the lack of exercise and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, such as long working hours and sedentary lifestyles, and the solutions provided, like workplace fitness initiatives, are practical. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. The explanation of why technology contributes to a sedentary life is brief, and the solutions could be expanded with more specific examples or deeper analysis to reach a higher band. The position is clear throughout, but the overall depth of the argument is consistent with a Band 6.0 level.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, body paragraphs for reasons and solutions, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'In regards to the problem,' 'For example,' and 'To conclude.' However, there is some mechanical use of these devices, and the flow between sentences is occasionally interrupted by grammatical errors. Referencing is generally clear, but the transition between the two body paragraphs could be smoother. The structure is sufficient to follow the argument, but it lacks the sophisticated, flexible cohesion required for higher bands.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'mitigate,' 'menace,' and 'plethora,' though some word choices are slightly awkward or contain spelling errors (e.g., 'excercise' instead of 'exercise,' 'lazziness' instead of 'laziness,' 'spening' instead of 'spending'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a more natural command of collocations. The range is sufficient to convey the intended meaning but lacks the precision and flexibility of higher bands.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the writer attempts complex sentences, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, such as 'people are working more number of hours' (should be 'a greater number of hours') and 'they bearly gets time' (subject-verb agreement error). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement. While these errors are noticeable, they rarely impede the reader's understanding of the main points. To improve, the writer should focus on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage.
