Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays, majority of people avoid doing physical activities due to multipal reasons which leads to major health issues. This essay will discuss the reasons behind this phenomina and their solutions.
Firstly, numerous work and family responsibilities, not enogh money for gym memberships, and not prioritzing health are the predominant reasons why people avoid working out whether they have free time or not. To understand, people to look good in front of thier social groups starts adding liabilites instead of paying for gym membeships, which might make them work little extra, then eventually get tired and postpone the plan for exercise. Studies have proven that adding liabilities like cars and expensive clothes always makes people work harder to just fullfill the installments, and leaving no extra mony for needs like healthy and expensive food.
Understanding the importance of a healthy body, the concept of gym membership is always cheaper than expensive medical treatments, and pulling out some time for own body to manage resposibilies with a fresh mind and a healthy body are the true solutions for these problem. To illustrate, I bought my first car, it was fun to haveat the beginning but later made me realized that its maintainance bills, extra reapir costs made me work extra everyday. I ended up having no time and money for my fitness goal untill I realizesd one day how imporatant it is to have a healthy body.
To conclude, liablities, responsibiities and poor understanding of healthy body makes working profasionals to skip fitness routines. These issues can be solved with the proper understanding of a healthy body.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for inactivity and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, such as financial pressures and the prioritization of material goods. However, the development is somewhat limited. The explanation regarding how financial liabilities lead to inactivity is a bit circular and could be more clearly articulated. While the position is clear, the supporting arguments lack depth and specific evidence beyond a brief personal anecdote. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'solutions' section with more concrete, actionable steps rather than just stating that a 'proper understanding' is needed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. There is a clear progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally repetitive. For example, the transition between the problem and the solution could be smoother. Referencing is generally clear, but some sentences are slightly disjointed, which affects the overall flow. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'liabilities', 'installments', and 'fitness routines'. However, there are several spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'multipal', 'phenomina', 'enogh', 'prioritzing', 'thier', 'mony', 'resposibilies', 'reapir', 'untill', 'imporatant', and 'profasionals'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. To improve, focus on proofreading your work to catch these slips, and try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations to demonstrate a wider range of vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement and article usage (e.g., 'majority of people', 'the concept of gym membership is always cheaper'). Some sentences are slightly awkward, such as 'people to look good in front of thier social groups starts adding liabilites'. These errors do not usually impede communication, but they are persistent. Increasing your control over complex sentence structures and paying closer attention to basic grammatical accuracy will help you achieve a higher score.
