Student answer (Band 7.0)
Nowadays, most people spent more than half of their day time in work environment. Due to their hectic schedule, they barely have any time left for themselves to do any physical activity to release their all day stress. In the upcoming paragraphs, I'll discuss the causes responsible for this phenomenon and suggests some ways to tackle this issue.
To begin with the reasons for lack of time to get involved in any exercise, there are numerous. First of all, people get so tired at their workplace that there is no energy left in them for exercising after job. For example, a person who does construction work all day, from where he will bring more strength to do any other physical work. In addition to this, people have some other works to do after work as well. For example, somebody has to pick up his/her children from school, other has to do house grocery, someone has to do household chores as well. So even after work, people still do not have any time left for any physical workout.
However, keeping our body and mind fit should be the most important goal in our life. There are many ways by which a person can stay fit by doing some mental or physical activity. Firstly, people have to manage their time effectively and efficiently. They should figure out a schedule which can help them to devote some time to their health. Secondly, working individuals try to choose from vast number of activities, an activity which benefit them not only physically, also mentally. For example yoga is a perfect exercise for an individual who does heavy duty jobs at work.
At last, in my opinion, exercising plays a very critical role in every human's life to live a prosperous and healthy life. Therefore, every individual must devote some or even a little time from their busy schedule to some physical or mental activities by which they can relax from the tensions, tiredness and stress of their daily routine.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for lack of exercise and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, such as workplace fatigue and domestic responsibilities, and the solutions provided, like time management and choosing appropriate activities, are logical. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat basic. For instance, the example of a construction worker is a good start, but the explanation could be expanded to better illustrate the broader societal issue. The position is clear throughout, and the essay maintains a consistent focus on the topic, meeting the requirements for a Band 6.5 or 7.0 level of development.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the causes from the solutions. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'In addition to this', and 'However' are used to guide the reader. While the flow is generally smooth, some transitions feel slightly mechanical or repetitive. The referencing is clear, and the progression of ideas is easy to follow. To reach a higher band, the student should aim for more sophisticated linking phrases and ensure that the relationship between sentences is more nuanced.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task and allows for clear communication. The student uses some topic-specific terms like 'physical activity', 'hectic schedule', and 'prosperous'. However, there are some instances of slightly unnatural phrasing, such as 'from where he will bring more strength' and 'do house grocery'. These errors do not impede communication but indicate a need for more precise collocation and idiomatic usage. The range is sufficient to discuss the topic, but lacks the flexibility and precision required for higher bands. Expanding the range of synonyms and collocations would improve the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'most people spent' (should be 'spend'), 'suggests some ways' (should be 'suggest'), and 'not only physically, also mentally' (should be 'not only physically but also mentally'). While these errors are noticeable, they do not prevent the reader from understanding the intended meaning. The control over punctuation is generally good, but the frequency of minor errors in verb tense and sentence structure keeps the score in the 6.0 range. More attention to subject-verb agreement and complex sentence construction is recommended.
