Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is consider that health issues are increasing among job-oriented individuals as they spend very less time or no time on exercise not only during their working days but also in their leisure time. There are several factors responsible for this and this problem can be mitigated by taking some appropriate steps.
One main reason why people not get enough or no exercise due to tiredness. This is because they are leading busy life and spend a considerable amount of time at their workplace. Due to which, very less or no energy left for the personal care or exercise. That's why, they prefer to take rest most of the time during their breaks instead of spending such time on exercises.
This problem can be tackled with the involvement of companies by either allocation additional time for physical activities or providing gym facilities to the employees. When people get these facilities at their working area, they can develop their interest in physical activities. Due to which they can lead a happy and healthy lifestyle along with their working responsibilities. In the meanwhile, it might be beneficial for the company's productivity.
Government also can play an important role in order to overcome this issue by spreading awareness among citizens. The government can spread information regarding the benefits of exercise through tv programs, social media and compaigns. People might take more part in physical activities and other form of exercises if they would be aware about it.
In conclusion, it is understandable that working people's daily routine is much more busy and less or no time left behind for exercise, but the appropriate efforts of companies and governments can solve this problem by assigning extra time and making people aware about the negative consequences of ignoring exercises.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the lack of exercise and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, covering workplace fatigue and the role of companies and government. However, the development is somewhat basic. For instance, the suggestion that companies provide gym facilities is a good point, but it could be expanded with more specific examples or a deeper explanation of how this overcomes the 'tiredness' mentioned earlier. The position is clear throughout, and the response maintains a consistent focus on the topic. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended with more detailed reasoning or illustrative examples.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. There is a clear progression of ideas from the problem to the solutions. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'One main reason', 'In the meanwhile', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'Due to which'. The referencing is generally clear, though some sentences feel slightly disjointed due to grammatical constraints. Overall, the paragraphing is appropriate and the flow of information is easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to communicate their ideas clearly. There is an attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'mitigated', 'productivity', and 'awareness'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there are instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'job-oriented individuals' and 'very less time'. Some collocations are slightly unnatural, such as 'take more part in'. While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey meaning, it lacks the precision and flexibility required for a higher band score. Expanding the range of synonyms and focusing on natural collocations would improve this score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The response shows a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'It is consider' (should be 'It is considered'), 'people not get' (missing auxiliary verb 'do'), and 'very less' (should be 'very little'). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but there are minor errors in sentence construction that occasionally impede the flow. While the meaning is always clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of quantifiers like 'little' versus 'less' would be highly beneficial.
