Student answer (Band 5.5)
I agree with the statement that working people don't exercise during their the free time or after the work can result in ending up with a health problem
The reason for that is that the amount of time they spend in job many people work till late night and few do overtime because they are in rush to earn more money, so they just like to sit at one place for a long time and due to that they become tired easily which result in direct sleep when they reach home, on the other side many just want to relax in their home in the weekends , want to watch movies , eat outside and do nothing for rest of the day a survey was conducted which stated that an average working person spend Monday to Friday in the job and in the weekends he just want to rest and wants to do all the household chores which includes-cleaning of house ,doing laundry and went out to shop to restock all the required items for eat and other things which also end up taking most of the time in this. Even thought many of them come late and order food online which is not good for health can lead to few of some serious heath problem
I would suggests people should go out for a walk even for 1-25 min daily when they come back from job or join some clubs in the day off with their friends and they should choose more healthy food options too

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for inactivity and potential solutions. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. The explanation for why people do not exercise relies on generalisations about working long hours and household chores, which are relevant but lack depth or specific examples. The solutions offered are also quite brief and could be expanded with more detail on how these changes could be implemented or encouraged. While the task is addressed, the lack of a clear structure and the limited expansion of ideas prevent it from reaching a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay lacks clear paragraphing, which makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. The entire body is essentially one long, run-on paragraph. There is a lack of cohesive devices; sentences are often linked by simple commas or 'and', leading to a repetitive and disjointed flow. While the ideas are logically related to the topic, the absence of clear signposting (such as 'Firstly', 'Furthermore', or 'In conclusion') and the poor use of punctuation make the organisation feel mechanical and confusing at times.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, often relying on simple phrasing like 'do nothing', 'eat outside', and 'not good for health'. There are instances of awkward word choices and collocations, such as 'direct sleep' and 'restock all the required items for eat'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited and lacks the precision or variety required for a higher score. The student struggles to use more sophisticated or academic language to discuss the topic of lifestyle and health.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, particularly regarding sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation. Many sentences are 'run-on' sentences, where multiple independent clauses are joined incorrectly with only commas (e.g., 'many people work till late night and few do overtime because they are in rush...'). There are also errors with articles ('in the weekends') and verb tenses ('he just want to rest'). While the meaning is usually understandable, the high frequency of errors and the lack of complex sentence structures limit the score.
