Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this day and age, it's widely believed that working people are getting less time for exercise, which leads to various health problems. In the upcoming paragraphs, we are going to talk about the reasons why they are not getting time for the gym like hectic schedule, poor time management, low energy and lack of motivation and solutions behind this problem.
First and foremost reason is people having very hectic schedule. moreover, during travel time they wasted their most of their time. to elaborate this, in the morning most of the people use public transport which is more time consuming because it stops at every stops which makes them more tired and they feel tired and low. They are wasting all their valuable time in transportation, and they are getting time for their fitness. Road conditions are worse which leads to delay. Another reason is people are working more hours in the office while sitting that make them more tired there is no physical activity they work on computers for long hours.
to overcome this challenge, they need to take a little time for the exercise. They can start walking after their dinner or in the morning. They can change their schedule and take some time for exercise or some fun activities which leads to improve their health issues. last but not least they can prepare their gymwears and shoes in the night and get some time for the walk or exercise.
To sum up, if people can manage their time efficiently, then they can get time for exercise and overcome their health issues.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the lack of exercise and potential solutions. However, the development is somewhat limited. The reasons provided (hectic schedules, commuting, and sedentary office work) are relevant but could be expanded with more specific examples or deeper analysis. The solutions offered, such as walking after dinner or preparing gym clothes, are practical but remain quite basic. To achieve a higher band, you should aim to provide more detailed explanations and perhaps discuss the broader societal or structural factors contributing to these issues, rather than focusing primarily on individual time management.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive. For example, the transition 'First and foremost reason is...' is grammatically awkward, and the use of 'moreover' and 'to elaborate this' feels forced. There are also issues with sentence-level cohesion, such as the run-on sentences in the second paragraph. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on common, simple phrases like 'get time', 'do exercise', and 'very hectic'. There are also some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'gymwears' (which is not standard) and 'solutions behind this problem' (which is slightly unnatural). To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary related to lifestyle, health, and time management, and focus on using words in their correct collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include missing articles ('in the morning', 'at every stops'), subject-verb agreement errors ('people is working'), and punctuation mistakes (lack of capitalisation at the start of sentences like 'to overcome this challenge'). The sentence structure is often repetitive, relying on simple clauses. To reach a higher band, you need to demonstrate better control over complex sentence forms and ensure that basic grammar, such as pluralisation and verb tense consistency, is accurate.
