Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the lack of exercise and potential solutions. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The explanation regarding long working hours is clear, but the second point about 'discipline' is less effectively linked to the broader societal context. The solutions provided are somewhat generic, such as 'encouraging people to change their lifestyle,' which lacks specific detail or depth. To reach a higher band, you should provide more concrete examples or elaborate further on the consequences and the feasibility of the proposed solutions. The position is clear, but the overall depth of the argument remains at a basic level.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by sentence fragments and awkward transitions. For instance, sentences like 'Which result in health problems' and 'Which are explaind in detail in below peragraph' are grammatically incomplete and disrupt the cohesion. While there is an attempt to use cohesive devices like 'Moreover' and 'To conclude,' the connection between ideas is often mechanical. The paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks the sophisticated linking required for higher bands. Improving the use of complex sentences and avoiding fragmented clauses would significantly enhance the readability and logical progression of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. You rely on basic terms like 'good exercise' and 'doing other house chores.' There are several spelling errors, such as 'healty,' 'excercise,' 'dicipline,' and 'shedule,' which occur frequently. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of range and the recurring spelling mistakes limit the score. To improve, you should focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring the correct spelling of common academic and general vocabulary. Expanding your range to include more topic-specific terminology related to health and lifestyle would also be beneficial.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Many people starts'), incorrect use of articles, and the frequent use of sentence fragments starting with 'Which.' Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the placement of full stops and commas. While you attempt complex structures, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence boundaries and ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and verb will help improve your accuracy.
