In this modern era, having little time no exercise during work has become an increasing common issue in many countries. this situation has attracted considerable attention due to its negative impact on individuals. This essay will examine the main causes of this problem and propose some effective solutions.

There are several reasons why this issue has become so prevalent. On major cause is lack of time. This is mainly because of long working hours, they are not able to do after hectic day at work along with they also have family responsibilities. Therefore, they do not have enough time and energy for exercise. For example, a person who works eight hours a day in office may feel exhausted after work and prefer to relax at home instead of exercise. Another contributing factor is sedentary jobs. In other words, many worker work front of the computer and they drive to go home due to this there are less chances of physical activity. As a result, they do not get enough time to do exercise.

To tackle this problem, several measures can be taken, firstly, government can encourage exercise by provide parks, walking paths and affordable sports facilities. In conclusion, having no time for physical activities the main causes of demanding lifestyle and sedentary life. However by implementing such measures such as daily exercise for certain time and offers public parks , this issue can be addressed successfully.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the lack of exercise and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, such as long working hours and sedentary office jobs, and the solutions provided, like government investment in infrastructure and individual lifestyle changes, are logical. However, the development is somewhat basic. For instance, the explanation of why sedentary jobs lead to less exercise could be more detailed. The position is clear throughout, but the essay would benefit from more sophisticated supporting examples to reach a higher band. Overall, it covers all requirements of the task adequately.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On major cause', 'In other words', and 'In addition', though some are used mechanically or with minor errors (e.g., 'On major cause' should be 'One major cause'). The progression of ideas is generally logical, moving from causes to solutions. However, the referencing is occasionally slightly unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. The paragraphing is appropriate, and the essay maintains a consistent focus on the topic throughout.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is sufficient to convey the intended meaning, using terms like 'sedentary jobs', 'hectic day', and 'physical activities'. However, the range is somewhat limited and repetitive. There are some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'provide parks' instead of 'providing parks' and 'generally beneficial' used as a fragment. The student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary, but the lack of variety and occasional inaccuracies prevent a higher score. To improve, the student should focus on using more precise collocations and a wider range of academic vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('many worker work'), article usage ('in office'), and sentence fragments ('taking the stairs or physical activities... which generally beneficial'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some run-on sentences and missing commas. While these errors do not significantly impede communication, they occur frequently enough to limit the score. Increasing the accuracy of complex structures and refining basic grammar would significantly improve the overall quality.
