Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is widely observed that working professionals due to their workload not getting enough time for their workout and eventually caught by some severe health problems like back pain and obesity. To address this problem, an individual can set the timetable of whole day with dietary plan, and offices can introduce fitness plans in office itself.
On the one hand, due to fast-paced life of working professionals they failed to maintain work life balance and eventually ended up having the health-related issues. Therefore, many working individuals often preferring outside food through which they become unhealthier and losing their natural body shape. Moreover, it can negatively affect their performance in office and personal life too because it can damage their self-esteem. For example, in a recent survey of asking working professionals about their daily exercise, 43% are found not having any physical exercise due to their schedule and 28% ended up having cervical issues.
To address this problem, an individual can reset their day-today routine as per their office hours and can spare some time in gym or pursuing yoga at home, which will eventually have the positive impact on their mental well-being with physical fitness as well. Additionally, an employer can also dedicate some space in office for gym, so the employees can use it while they are stressed, as a result, they don't have to spare extra time after office on their fitness. For example, in Japan 75% offices have the dedicated gym for their employees, to make sure they are fit enough and able to give their best performance while working.
To conclude, it is concerning about the working professional to take care of their fitness and to address this problem, solutions like healthy eating habits and regular workout or yoga can be effective in the long run.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the lack of exercise and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, such as the fast-paced nature of modern work and the suggestion of office-based fitness facilities. However, the development is somewhat limited. For instance, the link between 'outside food' and 'losing natural body shape' is a bit tangential to the core issue of time management. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not fully synthesize the points made. To reach a higher band, ensure that each reason and solution is explored with more depth and clearer logical connections to the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'Moreover', and 'To conclude'. However, some transitions feel mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'It is concerning about the working professional to take care of their fitness'. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes imprecise, which occasionally disrupts the flow of ideas. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows naturally into the next would enhance the overall coherence of the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their meaning clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'work-life balance', 'mental well-being', and 'cervical issues'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'caught by some severe health problems' (should be 'suffer from') and 'reset their day-today routine' (should be 'adjust'). The range is sufficient for the task, but more precise and sophisticated vocabulary would be needed to move into the higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the fluency of the text. Examples include 'due to their workload not getting enough time' (missing verb/structure), 'many working individuals often preferring' (incorrect verb form), and 'it is concerning about the working professional to take care of' (awkward phrasing). Punctuation is generally functional, but the recurring errors in subject-verb agreement and sentence construction prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence structure accuracy will be key to improvement.
