Student answer (Band 6.0)
Working and exercising is not possible at all times. Physical activity also plays an important role to keep human body health and active. I strongly agree that people finds it hard to manage exercising during working or in their free time and they end up with health problems. I would suggest some ways to overcome this daily conflict.
People who are health conscious and go to gym or exercise regularly are intend to have more activeness than those who just follow regular routine. By sitting and just working for all day can lead you to weight gain which is unnecessary fat that can make you feel less confident. For example, my father in his 20's had just basic lifestyle of early morning 8 hours long shift and then just to watch news or movies at home. Lastly, have dinner and go to bad. However, when his friend suggested him to get involved in some leisure activities like simple walking in evening or swimming, going to gym can help him to maintain good health, better back or joint pain in his old age and strong appearance at work-space.
Furthermore, if people who find it hard to exercise during the working day should try managing their workload and get some time for self care. They should do yoga in early morning which will save their time to go out and exercise. Cycling, walking, jogging, gym, swimming kind of exercises are all helpful in their own ways. Continuously, one should also focus on what you eat!. Proper balanced-diet is also important for better results. Junk food everyday can affect your sleep, cholesterol, heart health and many more.
To conclude this, work is a never ending part of our life. We should also focus on our future by keeping our health at first priority. Everyone should do exercise at least 15 minutes a day to keep body working not only brain. As it works like a refreshment for humans.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the lack of exercise and potential solutions. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The explanation of why people do not exercise is a bit simplistic, focusing primarily on sedentary work habits. The solutions provided are relevant but could be more deeply explored; for instance, the suggestion to 'manage workload' is mentioned but not explained in terms of how an individual might practically achieve this in a modern corporate environment. The examples provided, such as the father's lifestyle, are relevant but could be integrated more smoothly to support the argument more effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a progression of ideas from the problem to the solutions and a conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as the use of 'Continuously' to start a sentence, which does not fit the context. Referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences could be improved to create a more natural, sophisticated connection between ideas. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to convey their meaning clearly. There are some attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'health conscious', 'sedentary' (implied), and 'balanced-diet'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'are intend to have more activeness' instead of 'tend to be more active' and 'go to bad' instead of 'go to bed'. These errors do not impede communication, but they limit the range and precision of the language used.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('people finds it hard'), incorrect verb forms ('are intend to'), and punctuation errors. Some sentences are slightly disjointed due to these errors. While the student attempts to use complex structures, they are often marred by slips in accuracy. To reach a higher band, the student needs to focus on consistent subject-verb agreement and more accurate use of verb tenses.
