Student answer (Band 4.5)
In this busy era, many employees do not like exercise during the weekdays or even they have off or holidays. As a result, they are struggling with obesity or some other physical illness. I think the awareness is the biggest problem behind this and government should organize some awareness programmes.
Firstlly, I think the most vital reason behind not doing exercise in routine life is awareness. In detail, individuals are not aware too much about the yoga and meditation. In addition, people are unawa

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response is significantly under the required 250-word minimum, reaching only 84 words. Because the essay is incomplete and cuts off mid-sentence, it fails to address the prompt fully. The ideas presented—lack of awareness and government intervention—are relevant but remain severely underdeveloped due to the lack of length. To improve, you must ensure you provide a full introduction, two body paragraphs with supporting examples, and a conclusion. Currently, the response does not meet the basic requirements of the task, resulting in a low score for task achievement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The text is too short to demonstrate a clear logical progression or effective paragraphing. While there is a basic attempt at using cohesive devices such as 'In addition' and 'As a result', the abrupt ending prevents the development of a coherent argument. The structure is fragmented, and the ideas are not linked in a way that creates a cohesive whole. To achieve a higher band, you need to write full paragraphs that follow a logical sequence, using a variety of linking words to connect your ideas and examples smoothly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, such as 'busy era', 'physical illness', and 'awareness'. There is little evidence of a range of vocabulary that would allow for precise expression. The word choice is functional but lacks the flexibility or sophistication required for higher bands. To improve, you should aim to use more precise collocations and a wider range of topic-specific vocabulary related to health, lifestyle, and government policy. For example, instead of 'not like exercise', you could use 'lead a sedentary lifestyle'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The grammar is generally understandable, but the range of structures is very limited. There are errors in sentence construction, such as 'even they have off or holidays', which is grammatically incorrect. The text lacks complex sentence structures, which are necessary to demonstrate grammatical control. The unfinished nature of the response also limits the assessment of your ability to use a variety of grammatical forms. Focus on using a mix of simple and complex sentences and ensure that your subject-verb agreement and word order are accurate.
