Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the lack of exercise and potential solutions. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While the mention of 'busy schedules' and 'screentime' is relevant, the explanation remains superficial. For instance, the suggestion to 'arrange a gym in companies' is a good start, but it lacks detail on how this would be implemented or why it would be effective. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your points with more specific examples or logical consequences. The position is clear, but the overall depth of the argument is basic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Moreover', 'Another important reason', and 'In conclusion', which help the flow of ideas. However, some transitions feel mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'people As a result, they do not get enough exercise'. Paragraphing is present, but the body paragraphs could be better balanced to ensure a smoother progression of ideas throughout the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. You rely on common terms like 'busy schedule', 'important factor', and 'health issues'. There are some inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'proper workout' instead of 'regular physical activity' and 'get rest' instead of 'relax' or 'unwind'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and there is little evidence of less common lexical items or idiomatic expressions that would demonstrate a higher level of proficiency.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'the main reasons of people who are employed not get enough exercise' (should be 'why employed people do not get'), 'jobs are taking long hours' (should be 'jobs require long hours'), and 'these can be solve' (should be 'these can be solved'). Punctuation and subject-verb agreement issues are noticeable throughout. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to lower the score.
