Student answer (Band 5.0)
A lot of people are workaholic and do not focus on their health they do not do exercise even they free time, so as result they are facing a lot of health problems.
Firstly. mostly people are busy in their work and they get very less time to do exercise. they have work almost all days of work and when they get day off they have so many things to do like their unfinished tasks cleaning, cooking and spend some time with their families also.
They have less awareness also.
To solve this problem people need to make a proper schedule to do all things on time and follow the proper routine, as a result, when they follow their proper routine they have proper time for everything for their family, health and to do the task like to do cleaning and all. secondly, they need to concern about their health like some awareness programs by government so when they watch this they get information about this how harm this is when they do not focus on their heath. So, they get more awareness about their health issues.
In conclusion, people these days do not focus on their health issues due to their busy schedule and less interest and less awareness . to solve this issue they need to follow proper schedule and some awareness programs.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying reasons for inactivity and suggesting solutions. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. The essay is significantly under the 250-word minimum, which restricts the depth of the argument. The points made, such as 'busy schedules' and 'awareness programs', are relevant but lack sufficient elaboration or concrete examples to reach a higher band. The conclusion is brief and does not add new insight. To improve, you must expand on your points with specific examples and ensure you meet the word count requirement to allow for full development of your ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is hindered by repetitive phrasing and a lack of sophisticated cohesive devices. While you use 'firstly' and 'secondly', the transitions between sentences are often mechanical or abrupt. For example, the jump from discussing household chores to 'less awareness' is disjointed. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the paragraphing is basic. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in addition to') and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that guides the reader through your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, relying on basic words like 'work', 'health', 'time', and 'proper'. There is little evidence of less common lexical items or idiomatic language. Phrases like 'do the task like to do cleaning' are awkward and lack precision. You often repeat the same words within the same sentence, which reduces the impact of your writing. To achieve a higher score, you should aim to use more precise synonyms and collocations, such as 'sedentary lifestyle', 'time management', or 'public health initiatives', rather than repeating simple terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('mostly people are busy'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on or fragmented, such as 'A lot of people are workaholic and do not focus on their health they do not do exercise'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with misplaced periods and commas. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors makes the text difficult to read at times. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for punctuation and tense consistency.
