Student answer (Band 6.0)

It is undeniable that no exercise by working professionals has become an increasingly pressing issue in many parts of the world. This essay will examine the main problems associated with no workouts by working people and propose some practical measures that could be taken to address them.

There are several significant problems arising from no workout. The most serious concern is that working professionals do not prefer to further work on their selves. This is largely because by doing work whole day becomes stressful, which can lead to several health issues such as back pain, stress on eyes and headaches. For example, one of my colleagues was sitting on a chair when he tried to stand up he was unable to do it, later it was found that his spinal muscle has been ruptured due to sitting very long. Another major issue while doing work your energy has been drained and you don't want to work further either on yourself. If people keep following this pattern in their working life and do not focus on themselves, this affects every working individual's health in the long term.

Nevertheless, there are a number of effective measures that could be implemented to tackle these problems. One particularly effective solution would be that companies should give enough time to employees to stay fit. This could be achieved by giving allocated time to exercise, and as a result their productivity can also be increased. In addition, employers should provide small facilities in workplace for the workers to encourage them. If these measures were implemented effectively, they would significantly reduce major health issues.

In conclusion, no exercise gives rise to several health problems, particularly due to stress and no energy left. However, these issues can be mitigated through giving allocated time & providing adequate facilities. A coordinated effort from organizations would therefore be essential to bring about a long-term improvement in this area.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the lack of exercise and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, such as workplace stress and the need for employer-provided facilities. However, the development is somewhat uneven. The explanation of why people do not exercise is repetitive, focusing heavily on 'no energy' and 'stress' without exploring other factors like sedentary commutes or lifestyle choices. The solutions are practical but could be more detailed to reach a higher band. The position is clear throughout, but the depth of analysis remains at a functional level rather than a fully extended one.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the problems from the solutions. Cohesive devices are present, such as 'Nevertheless', 'In addition', and 'For example', though some transitions feel a bit mechanical. The progression of ideas is generally clear, although the connection between the colleague's anecdote and the broader argument about workplace energy could be smoother. Overall, the text is easy to follow, and the logical flow is maintained throughout the response.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their meaning clearly. There is an attempt to use topic-specific language like 'sedentary' (though not used) or 'mitigated', but the range is limited. Some phrasing is repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'no exercise' and 'no workout'. There are also minor collocation issues, such as 'no exercise by working professionals' and 'stress on eyes', which sound slightly unnatural. To improve, the writer should focus on using more precise collocations and a wider variety of synonyms to avoid repetition.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles, prepositions, and verb forms (e.g., 'no exercise by working professionals', 'doing work whole day', 'his spinal muscle has been ruptured'). Some sentences are slightly awkward, such as 'one of my colleagues was sitting on a chair when he tried to stand up he was unable to do it'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do indicate a lack of control over more complex grammatical structures.
