Student answer (Band 6.0)

Many individuals don't get the time to excerise during thier working days nor in thier free time, which eventually results in health issues.

Hence, many people don't get enough time for excerise because of their tough work routine. This, usually makes them very lazy and results in poor health. Usually, these people end up gaining weight, and having serious health issues due to obesity.

In order, to over come this problem of not getting enough time to exercsie. One should be able, to manage their time accordingly and then take out a specific time to excerise. Also, joining a gym will be feasible as well and preferabley go there in the morning before work. As at that time, the body is fresh and ready to lose some calories instead of the evening time when one is very tired already.

I have seen many people, who have tough rouitne who run many big businesses as well. Some how they manage to take time out and go to the gym regulary and depsite being in thier 40 or 50's they manage to look fit and sleek for examples e.g model, actor and influencer have such a decent body. They are not alwyas edited, because when you see them in real life they look pretty good.

Managing diet is also helpful in order to lead a healthy life. Exercise is very essential, in order to avoid many health issues especially in women e.g PCOS, Obesity, Thyroid issues. Where as in man, healthy prostate and stamina can be maintained by exercise.

Thus, managing time in tough rotine is the key to take time out for exercise and specially focus on your well being is very imporatnat. Giving your self time and your body is very essential.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the lack of exercise and potential solutions. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention 'tough work routines' and 'time management,' these points could be expanded with more depth or specific examples of how modern work environments contribute to sedentary behavior. The examples provided, such as mentioning actors and influencers, are a bit tangential to the core issue of the average working person. To reach a higher band, ensure that your arguments are fully extended and directly linked to the specific challenges faced by the workforce.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or slightly awkward, such as starting sentences with 'Hence' or 'Thus' in a way that does not always logically connect the preceding thought. There are also instances where the flow between sentences feels disjointed, particularly in the paragraph discussing celebrities. Improving the use of transition signals and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the logical progression of your argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. There are frequent spelling errors, such as 'excerise' (exercise), 'thier' (their), 'rouitne' (routine), and 'imporatnat' (important). These errors are noticeable and detract from the overall quality of the writing. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'obesity' and 'stamina,' the range remains limited. Focusing on accurate spelling and incorporating more sophisticated collocations would help improve your score in this area.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by punctuation errors, such as unnecessary commas (e.g., 'In order, to over come...'). There are also consistent grammatical slips, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('model, actor and influencer have') and incorrect preposition usage. The frequency of these errors, combined with the lack of varied, error-free complex structures, limits the score. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and punctuation before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
