Student answer (Band 5.5)
This is modern era, health is very important for everyone, nowadays people are very busy in their life and they are facing health issues. i will explain the problems and solutions in the paragrahs.
To begin with, these days individuals are very busy at their work, they have no time to do exercise, if they have free time on the weekend they don't like to do any physical excercise like yoga, running and gym, the reason behind of this is a mobile phone and computers. In the free time people are like to watching movies and playing videos games rather than doing physical exercise, due to which they are facing many health problems like obesity and other internal problems. secomd is they are like to make more money in their life, because these days many people are facing finacial issue, because of this they always are trying to go at jobs rather than doing physical excercise.
on the other hand, there are some solution people can give little bit more time to do physical exercise. everyone should use less mobile and laptop for watching and playing movies and games, they should go to gym and playing some outdoor games with their friends and children, these habits may be helpful for people's health. Moreover, individual can make their schedule and keep everything balance like work and exercise they can give little bit time to their body to do physical work.
conclusion, i think although work and physical exercise both are equally important, without work people can't survive their household, exercise is more crucial for them without health nothing is important in the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing reasons why working people lack exercise—such as demanding schedules, sedentary leisure habits involving mobile phones and computers, and financial pressures—along with practical solutions like time management and alternative recreational activities. The ideas are relevant and present a clear position throughout the essay. However, the development of these ideas tends to be somewhat superficial and repetitive, particularly in the body paragraphs where sentences run together without deep elaboration. This performance aligns best with the Band 6 descriptors, as all parts of the task are addressed, but certain ideas remain under-developed and lack fully articulated examples.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is attempted, though the division could be managed more effectively to separate causes and solutions more cleanly. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often basic or mechanically applied, such as starting sentences with 'To begin with', 'on the other hand', and 'conclusion, i think'. Furthermore, referencing and punctuation errors—such as comma splices—occasionally disrupt the flow of ideas. Because the logical progression is sometimes hindered by these mechanical links and run-on sentences, a Band 5.5 score is appropriate here.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully communicating everyday concepts related to work, health, and lifestyle choices. Words like 'obesity', 'financial issue', and 'household' are used appropriately. However, there is a lack of less common or sophisticated lexical items, and noticeable errors in word choice and morphology occur, such as 'physical excercise', 'finacial issue', 'people are like to watching', and 'secomd is they are like to make more money'. While these errors do not impede overall communication, they restrict the lexical range and accuracy, placing the response firmly at Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar and punctuation is inconsistent. There are frequent errors throughout the text, including lowercase starting letters for sentences, missing auxiliary verbs ('people are very busy in their life and they are facing'), tense inconsistencies ('people are like to watching'), and comma splices linking independent clauses ('this is modern era, health is very important...'). Additionally, run-on sentences appear frequently, such as in the opening and second body paragraphs. These errors cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the grammar from reaching Band 6, making a Band 5.0 evaluation accurate for this criterion.
