Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: why many working people do not get enough exercise and what can be done about the problem. The writer presents relevant ideas, such as exhausting work schedules and long shifts leaving individuals with little time or energy, and suggests solutions like joining workplace gyms and achieving a better work-life balance. However, the ideas are somewhat repetitively expressed and lack fully extended supporting examples. For instance, the mention of a survey is vague ('a survey found that in some countries, people who are busy have more health issues than others'). While the overall task is addressed, the depth of development aligns best with a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay has a recognizable structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. There is a basic attempt to sequence ideas, using transition phrases such as 'To begin with' and 'Furthermore'. However, the logical progression is occasionally hindered by repetitive phrasing and poor cohesion at the sentence level. For example, sentences such as 'they have to give some for excercise which is beneficial for their body becuase nowadays, many health issues face by people' lack smooth integration. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion is sometimes mechanical or faulty, placing this response firmly in the Band 5.0 range.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for communicating the basic message, but it is heavily repetitive and restricted in range. Words like 'busy', 'time', 'work', and 'health' are reused excessively throughout the text. There are also numerous spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'tie' instead of 'time', 'resons', 'espeically', 'tied' instead of 'tired', 'alongwith', 'excercise', 'becuase', 'prioprity', and 'stronge'. These errors and the limited lexical flexibility restrict the score to Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but grammatical control is weak throughout. There are frequent errors in punctuation, capitalization, and sentence structure, such as missing subjects, sentence fragments, and run-on sentences ('People have busy schedules they do not have enough time for the exercise'). Punctuation is often neglected, leading to lower-case beginnings after periods or lack of proper separation between clauses. Although the meaning can generally be inferred, the high frequency of basic grammatical errors places this response at Band 4.5.
