Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many people lack the time to exercise regularly during the working period or in spare time, and this results into various health issues. This is because they might be into a busy schedule and they feel more fatique. If they follow a proper work balance and eat a nutritious food, they will feel better and more energetic.
One of the main reasons for not getting a proper timing for an exercise mainly because of a hectic schedule people follow during their working days. By nature, for instance, people like to enjoy their spare time for getting enough sleep after work, especially during weekends and they would like to carry out other stuff like, grocery, shopping and spending time outside with their loved ones. As a result, they feel more fatique and less energetic, which tends to avoid their health and exercise.
This issue can be tackled by following a proper work schedule and with deciplain. Despite not having a proper timing for exercise, individuals need to shift the choice of food into a balance diet. Having a proper nutritious food every day could solve the half of the problem. The reserch have shown that, for example, a healthy body depends into 80% nutricious food and only 20% on exercise. Therefore, a good nuticious food helps to maintain into a healthy shape and provides enough energy to the brain. As a result, people will feel more relax and motivated.
In conclusion, it cannot be denied that people do not have enough time for physical exercise; however, with the help of a proper diet and disciplaininto life could solve most of the issue regarding their health.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: why working people lack exercise and what can be done about it. The student identifies hectic schedules and fatigue as causes, and suggests maintaining a proper work balance, schedule discipline, and focusing on nutrition as solutions. Ideas are relevant, but some points are repetitive and under-developed, such as the heavy focus on food over actual exercise solutions. For instance, the text notes 'Having a proper nutritious food every day could solve the half of the problem' and relies on a specific percentage stat without deeper elaboration. Nevertheless, the main prompts are acknowledged and addressed adequately, aligning with a Band 6.0 performance level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs with a clear overall structure, including an introduction, body paragraphs addressing causes and solutions, and a brief conclusion. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. For instance, transitional phrases like 'By nature, for instance,' feel slightly awkward and unnatural. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'which tends to avoid their health and exercise,' where the subject-verb mismatch creates confusion. Paragraphing is present and separates the main ideas appropriately, but logical progression within paragraphs is hindered by repetitive statements, placing this response firmly in the Band 6.0 range.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common phrases such as 'hectic schedule', 'nutritious food', and 'balanced diet'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including 'fatique' instead of 'fatigue', 'deciplain' and 'disciplaininto' instead of 'discipline', 'nutricious' instead of 'nutritious', and 'reserch' instead of 'research'. Prepositional collocation errors are also frequent, such as 'depends into' instead of 'depends on', 'maintain into a healthy shape' instead of 'maintain a healthy shape', and 'results into' instead of 'results in'. These lexical inaccuracies prevent the score from reaching a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as conditional clauses ('If they follow a proper work balance... they will feel better') and adverbial clauses. However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward phrasings that detract from clarity. Examples include 'One of the main reasons for not getting a proper timing for an exercise mainly because of' (missing verb/grammatical incomplete structure) and 'The reserch have shown' (subject-verb agreement error, as research is generally uncountable). Punctuation errors are also present, such as double spacing and misplaced commas. While communication is not severely impeded, the density of grammatical slips limits the score to Band 5.0.
