Student answer (Band 5.5)

Many professional people often get little or no exercise during the employed day or in their spare time, and this leads to their health issues. In my opinion, long working hours and physical fatigue leads them to little time or energy. The solution to address this problem is to take active breaks.

The employes hardly find time for there physical health, is due to the fact that they have stressful work all the time. They feel mental fatigue due to the workload which have been assigned by their superiors, and they don't get free time to workout. As a result, it will increase there chance of getting serious medical problems and they have to take rest from their respected jobs for a long time period to get fit for work.

Active breaks is the good soultion to reduce there laziness in people, and it will not gonna affect their work. In shatter periods they can go for walk in park, and do some easy exercise, like yoga or streching. This will help their body to release stress, back pain and brain fogs. Futhermore, use of elevators should be minimized when they are going to different sections of their office for meetings, Nevertheless, replace it with stairs it will strengthen their leg muscles and improve their heart health which is very essential. For instance, people working in google play indoor games when they have free time to ease their pressure from work.

In conclusion, employes with extreme physical and mental tiredness develop their routine of not doing enough exercise. However, if they take small calorie burn breaks it will definitely help them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing the reasons why working people lack exercise, such as long working hours and fatigue, and providing solutions like active breaks. However, the ideas remain somewhat limited and under-developed. For instance, the mention of Google playing indoor games is a relevant example, but it lacks sufficient explanation to fully support the argument. The position is generally clear throughout, though the development of the ideas tends to be repetitive, particularly when reiterating the need for short breaks in the conclusion and body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

There is a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs addressing causes and solutions, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical and faulty. Referencing is not always clear, as seen in phrases like 'replace it with stairs it will strengthen', where pronoun referencing breaks down. While paragraphing is used, the logical progression between sentences within paragraphs occasionally stumbles due to abrupt transitions, such as jumping directly from discussing park walks to mentioning office elevators without smooth connecting phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and minimally adequate for the task. There are noticeable lexical errors and spelling mistakes throughout the text, such as 'employes' instead of employees, 'there' instead of their, 'soultion' instead of solution, and 'streching' instead of stretching. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'brain fogs' and 'physical fatigue', but word choices and collocations are occasionally awkward, such as 'employed day' instead of workday, which causes some difficulty for the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response demonstrates a limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside attempts at complex forms that are frequently faulty. There are noticeable errors in subject-verb agreement and clause structures, such as 'physical fatigue leads them' and 'is due to the fact that they have stressful work all the time.' Punctuation and verb form errors also occur, such as 'Active breaks is the good soultion' and 'workload which have been assigned'. These frequent errors require the reader to occasionally decode the intended meaning.
