Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question: lack of time and the perceived cost of gym membership are offered as reasons, and you recommend making exercise routine and setting aside time for it. These ideas are relevant, and the examples of long workdays and watching films at home help explain the first cause. However, the solutions are less fully developed than the causes: waking early and exercising are suggested, but you do not explain how employers or communities could make this easier for busy workers. The claim about gym costs also needs more explanation, since the question concerns exercise generally, not only paid facilities. Develop each point with a clear explanation and a specific, realistic example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion, and the reader can follow the broad movement from causes to solutions. Sequencing words such as “Secondly” and “Conclusion” signal the structure. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes abrupt: the discussion moves from lack of time to gym costs without a clear link, and the solutions paragraph is brief and ends with an incomplete “S”. Some linking is mechanical or unclear, while punctuation and spacing make boundaries harder to follow, as in “routine. This” and “home.Secondly”. Use separate, clearly focused paragraphs for causes and solutions, connect each example to its main point, and check that every sentence is complete.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “hectic lifestyle”, “professional lives”, “gym membership” and “financial burden”. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “health-related problems” and “mandatory part”. However, several expressions are repetitive or imprecise, including repeated references to “outdoor activities” and “outdoor sports”, even though exercise can also happen indoors. Some collocations and word choices are unnatural, such as “heart related patients” and “give ... to outdoor activities”. These choices do not prevent understanding, but they limit precision and naturalness. Build a wider set of accurate phrases for physical activity, workplace demands and practical solutions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a relative clause in “people who give at least an hour ... are more likely to have a healthy life” and a cause-and-effect clause about exercise and health problems. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence boundaries are noticeable. For example, “avoid to do exercise” should use a gerund after “avoid”, and “This generation have” has a subject–verb agreement error. “They should have a habit of wake up” also needs a different verb form. Several sentences run together because full stops are not followed by spaces or capital letters. Practise accurate verb patterns and agreement, and proofread punctuation while retaining your attempts at longer structures.
