Health is wealth! people spend alot of time for taking care of their health. Some working professionals during weekdays or in their leisure time do not exercise and they ends up with multiple health issues. In this essay, I will discuss about the causes for this problems and provide a solution for this issue.
Firstly, stress plays a vital role for employee's health. Employees having a lot of stress at work and they feel so tired after work, they ends up doing no exercise or hitting gym on daily basis. For instance, people who have an sitting job, if they do not exercise regularly then they will become caught-potato and facing obessity. Furthermore, working professionals have long working hours which leaves small amount of time to spend with there loved-once. Sometimes they have to choose between their family and gym. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses both questions: it identifies stress, long working hours and commuting as reasons for insufficient exercise, then suggests employer discounts, awareness campaigns and workplace gyms. These are relevant ideas, and the examples about sedentary jobs and travelling help illustrate them. However, several points are only briefly explained or become unclear. For instance, the link between spending time with family and developing health problems is asserted rather than explained, and the awareness-campaign suggestion is not developed with a practical example. The conclusion shifts to general advice about prioritising health rather than summarising how the proposed measures address the causes. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation of its effect and how the solution would help.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Furthermore,” “Nevertheless” and “Lastly” make the main sections easy to identify. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, and some links between ideas are unclear. In the causes paragraph, the move from long working hours to choosing family over the gym, then to health problems, needs a more explicit explanation. “Nevertheless” also suggests contrast, although the solutions paragraph is not clearly contrasting with the preceding point. Some references, such as “this problems” and “it,” are unclear. Use linking phrases to show the actual relationship between ideas and make each paragraph develop one clear line of reasoning.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The response uses relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “stress,” “long working hours,” “wellness programmes,” “productivity” and “gym facilities.” These choices make the general meaning understandable. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form and collocation errors reduce precision, such as “caught-potato,” “obessity,” “awarness campaignes,” “do work-out” and “priorities their health.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “spend more time for taking care” and “small amount of time to spend.” Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise expressions for sedentary work, lack of leisure time and workplace health initiatives would help communicate the causes and solutions more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
There are attempts to use both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if they do not exercise regularly” and clauses beginning with “which.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some relationships harder to follow. Examples include “they ends up,” “Employees having a lot of stress at work and they feel so tired,” and “people who work far from a hometown has to travel.” Articles, agreement, sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention; for example, “a sitting job” and the comma splice in “they feel so tired after work, they ends up…” A useful next step is to build accurate sentences with one main clause and one supporting clause, then check subject–verb agreement and articles before adding further complexity.
