In this modern era, many working individuals do not get enough physical activities which can lead to various health problems due to their busy schedules and sedentary jobs. However, both employers and people can take steps to sole this issue.

To begin with, there are several reasons why working people do not exercise regularly. Firstly, numerous people have spend most of their time sitting in front of screen. after finishing their work, they often feel tired and want to relax after reaching home rather than go for a walk or visit gym. Secondly, many people are working around eight to nine hours may strugle to find time for physical activities because they also have family responsibilities. for example, many people have to cook meals and look after their children. as a result, they may develop health issues such as back problem, obesity and heart disease.

However, There are several ways to address this issue. employers should encourage the employees to take short breaks during working hours and provide facilities such as gym or yoga classes. they could also organise walking groups and sports activites. the another way is people should give priority to staris rather elevators or lifts. They also have to make schedule for their daily routine. in addition, They have to visit parks in the evening with their kids which are not only beneficial for them but also for their kids as well. as a result, these small changes can improve their physical health and reduce stress.

in conclusion, busy schedules, tiredness and sedantary jobs are the main reasons why working people do not do physical exercise. employers and individuals should work together to make physical activity a regular part of life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

The response addresses both questions clearly: it identifies long working hours, sedentary work, tiredness and family duties as reasons, then suggests workplace facilities, activity breaks and changes to daily routines. The position remains consistent, and the examples about cooking and caring for children help explain why exercise is difficult. The proposed solutions are relevant, including walking groups and choosing stairs. To strengthen the response further, develop the effects and practicality of these ideas rather than listing them. For instance, explain how employers could make breaks manageable during a workday, or how a regular family walk could fit into a busy schedule. Overall, the main ideas are extended and supported, though some are presented quite generally.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining causes, a paragraph proposing solutions, and a conclusion that restates the main points. The progression from reasons to responses is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “However” help guide the reader. Examples are generally placed beside the ideas they support. At times, however, the linking feels list-like, with several suggestions joined in sequence rather than developed through clear relationships. The repeated use of “they” in the solutions paragraph can also make the reference less precise, as it may refer to employers or individuals. Use transitions that show cause, contrast or result, and make each paragraph’s internal links more explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the topic, with relevant terms such as “sedentary jobs,” “family responsibilities,” “physical activities” and “heart disease.” However, the range is limited in places, and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors reduce precision. Examples include “sole this issue,” “visit gym,” “the another way,” “staris,” and “sedantary.” Some phrases are also repetitive, particularly references to “physical activities” and “health.” Aim for more accurate, natural combinations, such as “address this issue,” “go to the gym,” and “make physical activity a priority.” Proofreading spelling and varying repeated terms would make the message more fluent and precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The response attempts both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause in “because they also have family responsibilities” and a result clause beginning “as a result.” Meaning is generally understandable, but errors occur often enough to limit control. For example, “numerous people have spend” has an incorrect verb form, while “many people are working around eight to nine hours may struggle” lacks a clear grammatical connection between its clauses. There are also problems with articles and sentence boundaries, as in “visit gym” and the lower-case starts after full stops. Practise forming complete clauses and checking verb forms, articles and capitalization. More accurate sentence construction would allow the ideas to be expressed with greater confidence.
