Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, some working people have no exercise during the working day or in their free time. They are busy in their jobs. I think people should give time to do exercise in your daily routine. It is better for their health.

Actually, Many individuals do not get more exercise in your life. Sometimes they are busy in their works. In free time they do another activity like reading books, visit to another place. They can not fully concentrate on physical activity. In the village side mostly people do not exercise because they don't take interest. They have many health issues.

Furthermore, Many persons do not take exercise. They make a routine in their life. They sleep at night then wake up early in the morning then go to jobs. They do not take time to yoga, running, jumping and another physical activity. They have more body health problems. They are body pain. They have also pain in knee joints. They face many diseases. They are not active in their life. They are lazy and can't complete any task or activity easily. Their stomach system are not work better because they can not take time to do exercise.

Finally, I think people should give 30 minute to do exercise. They should ,running, jumping, in the morning. They breathe in fresh air. They are better effects on their physical fitness. They feel better. Physically and mentally freshness is important for all people. When individuals should take healthy food, drinks and get more exercise then they feel good. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions in a general way: you suggest that work and other activities leave people little time for exercise, and recommend setting aside 30 minutes for physical activity. However, the response only partially develops the task. The reasons are repeated rather than explained in depth, and the point about people in villages not taking an interest is asserted without support. The proposed solution is also narrow; it focuses mainly on individual routines and does not explain how workplaces or communities could help. Health effects such as knee pain and inactivity are relevant, but examples and explanations are limited. To strengthen the response, explain the causes more precisely and develop several practical measures with supporting examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a basic paragraph structure, and signposts such as “Furthermore” and “Finally” indicate movement between points. The reader can generally identify the topic of each paragraph. However, progression is limited because several paragraphs repeat that people do not exercise and have health problems, rather than building a connected explanation. Some links between ideas are unclear, particularly the shift from busy schedules to village residents’ lack of interest. The final paragraph also moves quickly from exercise to healthy food and drinks without explaining the connection. Organise the essay around distinct causes and solutions, and use linking phrases to show how each point relates to the question rather than relying mainly on sequence markers.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use enough basic vocabulary to communicate the main topic, including “physical activity,” “health issues,” “routine,” and “physically and mentally.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “exercise,” “people,” and “health.” Some collocations and word choices are unnatural, such as “give time to do exercise,” “village side,” and “their stomach system.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning less precise, even though the general message remains understandable. Build a wider set of natural expressions for causes and solutions, such as describing sedentary work, time constraints, or workplace exercise programmes, and check how verbs commonly combine with nouns.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Most sentences use simple structures, and the main ideas can usually be understood. There are attempts to connect clauses, for example, “When individuals should take healthy food, drinks and get more exercise then they feel good,” but the structure is not controlled. Errors in agreement and verb forms occur in phrases such as “Their stomach system are not work better” and “They are body pain.” There are also problems with pronouns and sentence construction, as in “people should give time to do exercise in your daily routine.” Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, including unnecessary capitals after commas and the stray comma in “They should ,running.” Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled subordinate clauses.
