Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays, working out has become a trending topic. Working professionals spend little to no time exercising on weekdays or weekends, which leads to health issues. I reckon that they have a busy schedule to not have ample time to focus on fitness. However, they can spare some time for their health by maintaining a work-life balance.
The key reason for individuals to avoid working out is their hectic working hours. Workers are usually tired from work, and they have to complete their house chores during working days, whereas they find at least relaxation during their holidays. So, they prefer to spend time on their hobbies rather than exercise. For example, Employees at each major company have to work overtime to complete their pending tasks, which consumes a lot of their time and energy. The rest of the time, they spend cooking and sleeping. During off days, they do leisure activities to entertain themselves. Hence, paying attention to fitness is hard for the professionals.
Although the tight schedule of every worker does not allow them to exercise, they can still do it with time management. Everyone should divide their life and work equally in their routine. They should spare at least 15-20 min twice a day for general exercise in their timetable. For instance, employees should go for a walk or do 5-10 min Zumba exercise at the office after working for a while. This way, they do not have to spend extra time on exercise, and they can still stay fit. Therefore, doing regular exercises in between working hours is a good solution for this issue.
In summary, even though employees find it hard to exercise in their daily schedule due to their time- and energy-consuming working styles, they can add small exercises during their working hours and everyday life, which aid them in staying healthy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both questions and maintain a clear overall position: demanding schedules reduce exercise, while better time management and short activity breaks could help. The explanation of causes is relevant and supported by the example of overtime, household chores and limited energy. Your proposed solutions are also practical, particularly the suggestion of walking or doing a short Zumba session at work. However, some ideas are less fully developed than others. The claim that workers should divide work and life “equally” is vague, and the response could explain more specifically how employers or workplace policies might make exercise easier. The example is also general rather than based on a clearly described situation. More precise development would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The response has a clear four-part structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for causes and solutions, and a conclusion. Ideas progress logically from lack of time and energy to possible ways of fitting activity into the day. Linking expressions such as “For example,” “Although,” “Therefore” and “In summary” help signal these relationships, and the main points are easy to follow. At times, however, the connections feel somewhat formulaic, and some references could be clearer. For instance, “they find at least relaxation during their holidays” is difficult to connect precisely to the contrast being made. The conclusion also repeats the central points rather than adding a concise synthesis. More varied, precise transitions and clearer links between examples and claims would strengthen the flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “hectic working hours,” “time management,” “leisure activities” and “work-life balance.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and the response attempts some less common expressions. However, several phrases are imprecise or unnatural, such as “find at least relaxation,” “divide their life and work equally,” and “time- and energy-consuming working styles.” “Trending topic” is also not quite suitable for describing exercise as a health issue. These choices do not prevent understanding, but they limit precision and naturalness. Aim for more accurate collocations and avoid forcing formal-sounding phrases where a simpler expression would be clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including a concession clause beginning “Although” and a relative clause in “which consumes a lot of their time and energy.” Most sentences communicate their meaning clearly, and punctuation generally supports the organisation. Some grammatical errors remain. In “I reckon that they have a busy schedule to not have ample time,” the infinitive construction is awkward; a clause such as “their schedules are so busy that they have little time” would be clearer. “Employees at each major company have to work” is an overly broad construction, while “they find at least relaxation” also creates an unclear sentence pattern. Check sentence structure and article and number choices, and aim for more consistently controlled complex sentences.
