Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions: the first body paragraph gives reasons such as heavy workloads and household chores, while the next suggests walking, home exercise, and workplace sports events. These are relevant ideas, but they are mostly listed rather than explained or supported with a specific example. The opening also promises to discuss “health problem causes,” which does not match the task’s focus on why people exercise too little and what can be done. Your position is not consistently clear, and the conclusion (“doa e xcercise and keep your body healthy and active”) is difficult to understand and does not clearly summarise the proposed solutions. Develop fewer points with clearer explanations and finish with a direct summary.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an identifiable introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and the ideas are generally grouped by causes and solutions. Connectors such as “As a result,” “To begin,” and “In conclusion” help signal stages of the response. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the move from being tired to going out with family and friends is not fully explained, and the solutions paragraph shifts from personal habits to company activities without a clear link. Some transitions, including “On a one hand” and “Such example,” are inaccurate or awkward, while “However” does not clearly express a contrast in its sentence. Use simpler, accurate linking phrases and make each sentence’s relationship to the previous idea explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “workload,” “household chores,” “lifestyle,” “sports activities,” and “physically and mentally.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main subject, but the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to interpret. Examples include “morden,” “laizy,” “peole,” “engagged,” and “merathon”; “do a exercise” and “well bing” are also inaccurate expressions. Some phrases, such as “a person body active and fit,” do not convey the intended meaning naturally. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for exercise and health, such as “make time for exercise” and “stay physically active.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, using clauses with “so,” “due to,” and “after,” but complex structures are often faulty and errors occur frequently. For example, “plenty of individuals being laizy and tired” lacks a correctly formed main verb, and “there are various causes will be there” combines incompatible structures. Articles and agreement are also inconsistent in “a enough time” and “this situations,” while “company should arrange” needs a determiner or plural subject. Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention, particularly in “critical. To begin.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning hard to follow. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking verb forms, articles, and subject–verb agreement.
