IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The system used for rubbish/garbage collection in your local area is not working properly. This is causing problems for you and your neighbours. Write a letter to the local council. In your letter

• describe how the rubbish collection system is not working properly
• explain how this is affecting you and your neighbours
• suggest what should be done about the problem

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir,

I am writing to inform you that most of the time in my area garbage collection truck skip to collect a garbage trash. Although I inform to trash collectors various time about this problem, they did not take my advice seriously. Therefore, I decided to inform you by writing this letter.

Furthermore, as for last two weeks a garbage was not collected so it becomes difficult for residents to go out for a walk. In addition to this, smell of trash spread everywhere as a result there are high chances that any cronic disease can spread in a local area.

Moreover, I would appreciate it if you could hire new employees who cover every area once in a week. It would be great if council install garbage bin besides roads so that people can put waste in those bins.
